Mysterious Colleges

Hmm... so while I was in the shower my mom got a phone call from Berkeley college. To my knowledge, Berkeley college was a secretary school but they tell me mom they're located in Paramus (NJ) and are a 4 year college. They say they want me to attend their open house on Saturday and take a test to qualify for scholarships.

So the mysterious part? I've never heard of them in Paramus and when I looked on www.collegeboard.com, there is no school in Paramus. So what should we do? Go on Saturday?

I had known them to be a two year school that taught business skills. Perhaps they do also have four year degrees, I do not know.

Yes, they are or at least were in Paramus, I think on Rte 4west.

I used to pass the building often.

Check and see where they're accredited or not. If they are, list the organizations that accredit them here.

Well they told my mom on the phone that they are accredited... but like, I seriously can't find them online.

That doesn't mean anything. There's various organizations that accredit schools. The only ones that matter will be named something like "Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools."
