Well, today is my first day of class. It's been a long road but I've finally done it. I have class from 1000-1400 and from 1700-2300. Unfortunately, I was up till 5000 playing GS.
oops.

I hope they're math classes.
You have class until 11 at night?

How many courses are you taking?
I have one starting tomorrow night, then the other two start next week for a total of three classes. Today is my last day at work. Full time student ftw.

Daniel, you should totally see what Backlash is doing. He's a full time student but only taking 3 classes. FTW.

Wezas: Blow me.
Update: One of my teachers is ukrainian and pretty cool.
One is African and has this droning speech impediment that made the hour and a half class seem way longer than the 3 hour class I had before it. Fuck.

Congrats, Daniel. I know this is something you've been wanting to do for some time. I'm glad you're taking the opportunity to follow your dream. :)

Totally possible if you're taking hard sciences. Lab classes can be up to 5 credits each.

Holy shit Backlash, that takes some big brass ones to go back to school like that. Wish you the best there.

One more down. One to go. 3 hours of Us Foreign policy. I'm not gonna make it.
My math teacher is pretty cool, but then again all of the exams are essay tests...yea...

I can remember one of my semesters that I had 6 3-credit classes and 1 4-credit science class(22 total credits for the non-math majors).
Wasn't all that bad. The science was 1 hour m-w-f with a 3 hour lab on wednesday.
I had 5 of the 3-credits back-to-back starting at 9:30 am and ending at 5 pm tues and thurs with a Tuesday night class going 3 hours 6:30 to 9:30.
A good semester until the wife gave birth to our kid halfway through the semester. I got quite busy.

I would start off the first couple classes by getting a good feeling for the surroundings. There's a lot of people that skip syllabus day, or haven't registered for their classes yet.
After the first week, you'll have an idea of the talent in each class. Sit next to a girl with a tongue ring. A study session should ensue...
Edited to add the following:
Quit Gemstone. You will never, ever get the time to fuck around in like you do in college again. Cherish every moment. People would kill for the chance to do it over again.
Not playing GS in college was probably my second best decision ever.

Seconded.
Although I made the mistake of playing second year (coincidentally, my worst experience in college).

Way ahead of you on the study sessions longshot. ;) and GS is just something I'm doing right now because I have no tv or anything else.
Today I have only one class Socy-351: Ethnic conflict and strife and two job interviews on campus. Library monitor ftw.

I did that for my last 2 semesters of my BS, before children.
Doing that for post-grad work is not an option now. I'm sending the wife back for her MSN then PhD (nursing) instead. She's the more studious one of the bunch anyways.
Good luck.

If I was you, I would totally play GS all the time.
