Usually I am achieving my training during the level I am aiming for, but this level I seem to have come up a little short. Thats why only shield, climb and swim are finished for the level. My 1x spell has been coming just before I level.
Everything is going ok. The AS is great. 118 with spells and non-magical or enchanted weapon.

Your CS is going to suck, and I am finding that the more levels my paladins get, the more they use divine strike to simply kill their prey, usually in one cast.
To me I never understood having a lower then 70 LOG to start with. It just gives me the creeps. I guess if your PC knew it was stupid based on its stats, that would make sense.
Paladins by far do not need to worry about their AS, its their DS that will become a problem later on. I would consider that as you look at that low AGL stat, unless he is falling into some ickin` DS gear.
Personally, I would tank MIU, FA, and Survival. Then I would use those points to pump up CMAN. Thats just me. You are also going to want to get in 20 ranks of the MnS at some point, and if your points are so tight that thats looking impossible, I would consider that thought.
Thats my take. Hope it helps, or at least gives you things to consider.
Finis
I can see tanking FA. Never used it. Always carry herbs because even if you tend, when you attack they come undone.
My agil bonus is 26. Unless I need more than that I don't understand why I should boost it further. In fact, I was thinking of dropping it a few points to boost the dex bonus.
And further... dropping all the phys a few too boost the ment stats. Obviously this paladin is more physical and uses spells as enhancers.
It seems to me this is the way they are built. Someone could go pure mental paladin and have that great CS and lores to make the spells more effective, but the limited attack spells available drove me towards being more physical.
The paladin is an interesting class. Many physical ways to go and really only one mental way to go. Yet both can be pretty powerful.

The only thing I would say is to drop shield down from 2x. Only reason I suggest this is because Paladins have access to good cmans, and I'm a big fan of 2xing CM. I'm a physical heavy Paladin as well, preferring to use my spells as utility rather than gospel. The Paladin spell list, in my opinion, is geared mainly toward situational spells(1614, 1615, 1630, 1635, 1613) and they can be very effective when used in the right conditions.

I agree with Axhinde on many ways. Drop down shield a bit to free up some TPs...Divine Shield is godly for you wimpy sword and board types :)

Ok, dropped FA and Survival. I wasn’t using FA and with 1x Survival I was only skinning one out of five or so. Without Survival I still a skin here and there.
About sancted weapons... I’ve tried plain ora and cant hit undead. White ora works, the weapons from the cleric shops work, but neither will take Guiding Light (1608). I have 11 ranks of Paladin spells and 5 ranks of spirit; blessings. WTF?

White ora weapons should already have holy flares naturally, if you look at it the message "The (weapon) blah blah of divine fury"". While cool looking, the most useful of those flares knocks critters down, and rarely do I get kill flares. Ora should be working, as I had a young paladin with an ora hammer and it was fine. My advice is to just find a 4x blessable at 10, and Guiding Light will work.

The white ora I have gives lighting flares. Plain ora will not hit undead in my paladin’s hands.
When you say 4x blessable do you mean just a vultite weapon from the shop and bless it with symbol of holiness?
Are there 4x sanctified weapons out there?
Anyone want to sell me one? :D

Not that it specifically pertains here, but every, except for perhaps 1, of the regulars who converted to paladins and hunted OTF have since stopped. Don't know if it's merely coincidence, or paladins have a tough time there even though their AS dwarfs every other profession.

Yes, there are 4x sanctified and higher weapons out there. The white ora weapon I use is +18, and has holy "fire" flares. Never seen one with lightning.
Some 4x weapons are blessable, and common. Yes, vultites ones count. If you are Voln, (which for Paladin, in my mind, makes no sense unless from an RP standpoint), Symbol of Holiness will work, just use 1604 beforehand for more swings.
I used to have a 5x, sanctified, +5 to Strength Falchion, but I sold it.

Ok, Im playing Vaaloran elf Paladin. To me, from what I’ve read (Thanks to Finis), he has respect for the Arkati, and hates undead from the Despana thing. Ok, I am a little more of a casual player, but definitely an rper, but it seems to work.
Just trying to get mechanics down. And still looking for a 4x+ sanctified weapon for a Paladin.
Now I have a white ora longsword with steam flares. And they hit living as well as undead.
Settled into a training plan. Thanks for the advice. I can see I was trying to get more skills way too early without actually having the points. With this plan I am comfortably hitting my level goals with some extra points, which means as this char develops I will have more and more points to play with to expand the skill set.
I love mutants, but this time I am going vanilla.
It was mentioned that while paladins dont have problems with AS, they do with DS. I am taking that into serious consideration.

He is in Voln and hunts undead exclusively. No, I didn't do the brawling route and I use precis based on the enemy. The sbash will work if you bless your shield, but not against incorporeal undead.
One question here is at what point can I stop climb/swim? That should free up even more points later down the road.

25 ranks and you'll be good for basically anywhere.

Unless you are wanting to travel early to areas like the rift, then 30 do it. Naturally, later you would untrain the 5 extra ranks.

Hit level 20 this week. As hunting goes I was hunting spectres and wolfshades pretty easily at 11. Only now am I hunting wights, masters and shamblers with relative ease as long as the wights don't boil. I can take down zombies in the lower wealde pretty easy, but the two spirits can be problematic if there is more than one in the room. I suppose after I get 1620 I could start up minor spiritual for TD benefits and put off 1625 for a while.
Anyway, here is how he has progressed since I first posted and after people's comments. Oh, he has gotten into trouble with some ambushing archers thus the training in perception and MIU for using items with spells to flush them out of hiding, and that is the sole reason for training in these two skills. You'll see I've forgone a spell rank or two because of it.

cman sbash is pretty cool. Just at two ranks I get about 40% success. Its great on shamblers. What I want to try is getting a white ora or eonake shield and cast 1608 (guiding light) on it to see if it will flare on a successful bash.
Comments, advice on how to deal with ambushers, spells to get etc. appreciated.

Why in the world did you get 20 ranks of climbing and swim so early?
Cheap, and I had more PTP than MTP. Climb only costs 3, and swim 2. Just getting it out of the way early? Also because I haven't played in years and I don't know jack about training a paladin or anything else for that matter.

One of the best things about now... is that you can train skills at any time, but you can also unlearn skills. You don't need all that climbing, especially that early I would have recommended you put some of those tp's into more combat manuevers personally
