I have my suspicions, but does anyone know who Baggins and/or Baemerkia are? Both of them killed me in cheap ass ways yesterday, and I've never met either.

:( Ug, you know what you do with people like this? Kill them, keep them, drag them to your house and turn the privacy option on, leave, and lock the door.

You can even get a timer to remind you when the LK is going to wear off so you can re-keep them.

Mason, who is going to start doing this more often. If only I had more enemies....

will someone tell me who is stupid enough to get dragged by a enemy?

I can't actually retaliate, because then it would become consentual. I reported it, but I'd like to know who this ass is, so that can know what I did to piss him off.

Stupidity has nothing to do with it... if you have your group open and are slept or stunned.. you can be dragged and you cannot change your group setting.

The entire point of Mason's post was how you can let a corpse stay in a room for hours if you dragged him to a house. When you are dead, nothing stops you changing your group status.

Not anymore. You are able to close your group when stunned or slept.

All they have to do is log out and they arrive OUTSIDE the house.

Unless they changed this today, you're wrong (at least with being slept) I was unconcsious and couldn't close my group.

It's been changed for awhile now..... I just tested it and you can still close your group.

For me, it boils down to RP. I don't see how someone that's dead could prevent someone else from dragging them around. It's kinda like hiding behind the WARN verb. Ick. So, I guess I am stupid enough to get dragged by an enemy.

Very, very valid point, Mason.

That's the sole reason I don't close my group. The concept of a bound, stunned or sleeping person digging in and not being able to be dragged around is silly.

Are you sure? I know I've logged out in someone's house and logged back in still inside while the owner was gone. Or is it maybe just when you're dead?

Nevertheless, my original post was in jest, as I'm usually the one that ends up dying in the first place.

It only works when your dead. It was a safety feature put in I guess. Just log out and back in and you'll end up outside the house.

Last post tonite, I swear.

If I were a GM, I'd thank Mason. Mason has just took the idiot off the street, and put him somewhere where he's of no harm to himself or to those around him making my job that much easier and my night migraine free. Then I'd give him like, 10 RPAs...and some wicked uber items...and...maybe some coupons for free pudding or something.

Free Pudding...I'd make a terrible GM.

If the sleep wards you enough to put you UNCONSCIOUS you cannot change group, it says 'that is impossible to do while unconscious.'

Warding failed!
Your mind goes completely blank.
Forced to stance offensive.
>group open
Your group status is now open.
>group close
Your group status is now closed.

How much of a ward do you need to to be "unconscious?"

The dead person could just log out, too. I heard that if you log out and log back in, you're outside the house. Never tried it though, was never stupid enough to die in a private home.

And yep, if the dead person reports, say aloha Mason!

Artha it was probably some moron you pissed off here on these boards. I haven't had this problem yet but Diana has. Then again I don't have my well known character anymore either.

Their identity will soon be revealed eventually. It always does.

Alright, here's out went down...

I got sweep partner reps, and there was nobody in the guild for about 15 minutes. I go to the park and ask for a sweep partner, and someone whispers to me that they'll be my partner. I ask to go south a bit (common courtesy to everyone in the park), and she brings us outside of town. I think to myself 'that's a bit wierd, but whatever, maybe they're just RPing someone who is extremely literal'. So I sweep, and fumble it. Then she whips out a claidh and ambushes my head. Claidh + head = 1 less deed.

So I get raised in voln, and notice her die. I go to TSC and check to see if her body's there. It is. Thinking I'll just handle it IC, and drag her east and start getting my deed money back. I get 7 silvers, and then she logs out.

I decide to wait for her, so I stand around waiting for her to log back in so I can steal from her some more.

While I'm waiting, some guy named Baggins comes in and drags me to the north gate. This had to have been scripted, as it was extremely fast...I couldn't get out group close before we got out of the gate. He then swings a feras mattock at me and kills me.

While I'm dead, Covannent walks in, whispers 'pwned!', and then runs away. I am puzzled.

So, I get drug back to voln, and raised. I go talk to my dad, because he called me for something. When I get back, I've been drug outside voln and killed again.

That's pretty much the end, a GM came by to answer my assist and gave me 2 deeds and said they'd take care of it. I'm guessing they have, as I haven't seen any of the three involved around since.

The new Covannent is an asshole. I knew him 3 1/2 years ago and he was actually fun to be around then. Whoever he was sold to is a complete dickhead.
