or will swinging be the way to go with a rogue?

Just gave it a quick glance, that WI bonus is gonna hurt your picking but other than that I think it looks decent to me. I'm still debating the route I'll take with my rogue, I think I'll end up sticking with blunt weapons though.

Myself, I'd train more in picking locks than disarming traps if you have to choose. And if you're going the way of the CM list, I'd bump up that constitution too. That Mshot dealy looks pretty damn kewl. But from what I've read, and I haven't read alot mind you, archery sux0rs.

And the Avs can suck my ass. How dare they trade Adam Deadmarsh! Especially two days after I got his jersey!

AV's rule, John-Michael Liles will be great... Although I am somewhat partial to the caps too, considering kip miller plays for them and he's state grad, but then again im partial to the sabres cuz ryan plays there. I guess I just say screw the wings.

Edit (to stay on topic): well I tried swinging and I don't like the neutered ambush so i figured I'd give archery a try. Maybe I'll strictly be a picker. Any ideas on how i should go about that?

WI will not affect picking come GS4, DEX will, which is great if you're an archer. Your DEX could stand to come down a little bit too. That's going to max really fast.

Tru Dat.

I could never say scrap everything and just pick though, I'd feel helpless. And I'd get bored very easily ... and you know what they say about idle hands.

I personally don't dislike the new ambush, but that's coming from someone who won't have to go through the lower levels with it, so I have no idea how bad it sucks early on. But the whole idea of GS4 is to get more new people in, so it's got to be somewhat decent. I dunno.

Have you tried any other weapon combat? Like TWC or 2 Handed?

I've decided, Stay is going to be a 2-handed weapon user in GS4. Soulpieced, Methais, gray? Mind lending me 150 mil so I can buy Sorrow? Pretty please?

Posting spree!!

If you decide to go with archery, you'll wanna bump up your ambush some more.

If you got spells up to 404 to help with archery, I'd hold off on it till my later years. Your not going to be able to keep it up through your hunt with the 12 mana you'll have and you'll be able to pick everything you get easily 2xing (um...in GS3) until about 50ish. Use those points for something else for now.

Mason, again.

Edited cause I need to go back to Kindegarten.

Just for you Daina! ;)

Dexterity
A measurement of a person's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. This aids in actions requiring precision and deft manipulation, such as picking locks, picking pockets, skinning, and aiming ranged or targeted attacks.

Found it under the revised character attributes on the GS4 page. Tell them all to EAT IT!

Hmm, says nothing about disarming traps though, I would think they would go hand in hand.....

4 spells by 14 is pretty ambitious...and I'd drop the brawling, 1x'ing in a weapon type isn't good enough to have a secondary form of attack, and I don't think it adds to your parry defense nearly as much as it did in III.
