now, could someone explain to me how you can actually speak perfectly when your tongue is stuck to a statue?

P.S. before when you licked the statue and tried to speak, all you would say was something like "Mmfff!"

It used to be that when you stuck your tongue to it, you could only say "mmmfrmamf" and such. Then they changed it so you couldn't speak at all. No idea why they keep changing it, though.

Ever try to talk with your tongue sticking out of your mouth...? I think I could say each of those things perfectly fine that way... Just a thought

You could speak with your tongue stuck to a statue, but you could not enunciate clearly. It is also probable that if you are dumb enough to get your tongue stuck to an ice statue, nobody is going to want to know what you have to say, anyway. ;)
