Cyr just announced that ACs will be able to go inside if they are at "strong admiration" affinity or higher instead of the current 45 ranger spell rank restriction.
For many, such as myself, this is a great benefit...and finally means that affinity does give a tangible benefit besides being able to have RT down to five seconds for some actions occasionally.
For others...this is a curse. Since for whatever reason, they cannot raise their affinity.
A new theory proposed today, which I have subscribed to in the past is that giving orders to your AC takes points out of a pool. If that pool is completely emptied, your affinity goes down and the pool gets smaller. If you let it get full, it will increase in size to a larger pool at the next level of affinity.
It is also quite amusing that now we REALLY have no reason to train up the ranger circle.
