So...

Any fans of World of Darkness, Vampire: The Requiem, Werewolf: The Forsaken, or Mage: The Awakening here?

Any Cam-registered players? :)

Any fans of the old World of Darkness system? I sure do miss my old Assamite antitribu tabletop character... ^_^

Speak english! I am American, damnit!

Also what are those things? I'm usually interested in games with names like those.

I don't know if 'giving out' is the way I'd put it.

Ahh, well you've probably heard of Vampire: The Masquerade before, right?

World of Darkness is the game system that V:tM (was) a part of. There are separate rules for tabletop and LARP (Live Action Role Playing).

World of Darkness if I am not mistaken is the #2 tabletop system behind Dungeons & Dragons and it uses a d10 system instead of d20 like D&D.

White Wolf has done away with the old rules that they have been using for many years and have re-invented the game system in 2004.

Dungeons and Dragons tends to focus more on killing monsters and dungeon crawling whereas World of Darkness takes place in modern times and focuses more on plotting and scheming to find some kind of political, economic, or other edge against other player characters or nonplayer characters.

Of course, in the World of Darkness things like vampires and werewolves are very real and you can play as one if you would like to.

Wow, you must be a real nerd!

I think i'm gonna stick with my gemstone and my diku based muds.

.....nerd

Seriously though, that sounds pretty cool. If I had more time, i'd probably get really interested in it. I'll have to read up a bit on it later. Thanks for the info.
