View Full Version : Two-parter...11 spirit/Stat Bonuses...

I have two quick questions I've had for along time but never asked...
1. How do you get 11 spirit? I've tried and even with 100 aura I still have always only gotten 10.
2. I heard it had something to do with aura bonus, but I'm a little unsure on how "bonuses" work.
Here is what I know of bonuses, correct me if i'm wrong:
1. They do NOT increase over time? Only raw stat does? Forgot about this and cant login now as i'm at work.
2. They are determined by race only. Does this mean, if 11 spirit is based on bonus then only certain races can have 11 spirit?
3. They determine alot of things and are important.
Thats all I know, other than that stat bonuses are a mystery to me, i just know theyre...good.
Some simple explanations to these questions would be much appreciated, thanks.

you get 11 spirit by having an item that pushes your aura stat over 100.

Aura of 105 or more, to be exact.

1. They increase over time as your stats do.
2. Spirit is determined by the Aura stat, not bonus. Any race that has a stat boosting item can have 11 Spirit. Also, certain spells increase your bonuses, 1616 comes to mind.
3. Obviously.

So a +5 or more spirit item is the only way to get 11 spirit?
Aside from spells..
Hmm...I'm guessing +spirit items are pretty rare/expensive?

+5 Aura or more, that's with your Aura stat maxed.

My Aura and Wis are both maxed, I rolled for quick fun instead of growth...so i need to find a +5 aura item then...hmm. theyre very rare?

Hmm, sorcerer gift items and maybe wizard gift items will give a +5 Aura. Maybe you know someone who is one and recently started playing again? I don't think it will be too easy though as they arent being distributed anymore (gift boxes).

You can have stat bonuses with Level 1 Premium Point Enchancive items. They are fairly cheap, so it is certainly within your means to get your hands on one if Premium for a time.

There are also rare drake weapons that drop off critters, that give +1 spirit when wielded.

Maximum Spirit Points: 11
Remaining Spirit Points: 11

Bards' giftbox items did that too. Czeska has 11 spirit.

I know they were one per account, I can't remember if they were attuned or not. They came out back when GS4 started.. I think?

They are attuned to the character.

(Stat - 50) / 2 + Racial Bonus = Bonus
Racial Bonuses are constant, can be negative, and can be found on the play.net website.
In almost every case, it is the bonus and not the raw stat that matters. Starting HP, SP, and possibly starting MP are the only ones I can think of atm where stat(s) matters.
