"When I Was Young" by me.

Discuss the following essay which is to be translated into French and handed in (TOMORROW BECAUSE TODAY IS A SNOW DAY LOLOL) as an essay on what I did when I was young.


When I was young, I lived. I lived well. I used to be 1 year old. I also used to be 3 years old and 9 years old. I did not like being young because I worked a lot. Arnold Schwarzenegger was my science teacher. He used to smile a lot before the ninjas of Christmas kicked him.

Everyone was afraid of the Christmas ninjas. Every year they would invade Paris and kill everyone. The ninjas were scary. Their swords were sharp. I watched a ninja remove someone’s head. I cried. Arnold Schwarzenegger told me that he was going to punch the ninjas. He approached them.

The ninjas were frightened. They told Arnold that they were harmless. He did not believe them at first. Then they removed their ninja masks. Arnold Schwarzenegger saw what they truly were : humans. He invited them to Christmas dinner and they agreed. Arnold Schwarzenegger made the best meal ever. Then he mercilessly killed the ninjas, confirming that he was the best.

A few suggestions/questions:

Since the essay is in French, it might provide an extra frisson of realism if you included someone surrendering, body odor, or the Eiffel Tower.

Since you're using Arnold, you might consider using Tookie Williams as a Christmas Ninja to show that you're up on current events.

Provide details about what Arnold served for dinner. Sauerbrauten? Perhaps some regional specialty from the Alsace-Lorraine? Does Arnold have ties in the region? Will he embrace the Alsace-Lorraine since the Austrians don't want anything to do with him anymore?

Did Arnold teach evolution or intelligent design? That would be another way to work current events into your thought-provoking account of Christmas Ninjas Past.

Did the Kennedy assassinations have anything to do with Arnold becoming a science teacher? Did Arnold ever say "Ich bin ein Parisian"?

Did the Christmas Ninjas have throwing stars in addition to their madd kicking skillz? How long did it take them to kick everyone in Paris to death?
