RUMMAGE UPDATE: LIKE A RUNESTONE COWBOY · on 12/21/2005 12:39:22 PM 1252

The RUMMAGE verb has been expanded to allow searching of a container for a particular runestone, similarly to the method used to search for scrolls.

Usage:
RUMMAGE [in|on|under|behind] {container} RUNESTONE {rune} - Find a runestone with some rune on it

>rummage in pack for runestone quiss'fyn
You rummage through your boarhide pack and remove a snifty runestone with a "quiss'fyn" rune drawn on it.

Glad you guys like it. Rummage is a cool verb, not that I use it a whole lot.

On the rummage verb... I was using it in the pawnshop for scrolls. Just thought I was having no luck until one attampt I knew a scroll with spell ### was on the table the person with me saw it on the table. I use wizard and I don't point and click to pick stuff up so I rummaged for it and found none. It was there when I read third scroll blah blah - I bought it. Anyone know if it is supposed to work and it's a bug? The messaging returned is like that when you rummage a container and find no item with the the spell on it. The bench tells you you cannot rummage it...
anyway.. thanks!

I was under the impression oyu could only rummage through a container you were holding or wearing. I haven't ever tried to do what you did though.. so I dunno

It is in fact for containers that you are holding. Adding in the ability to rummage a bench or table in the pawn would be a cool addition.
