So a friend of mine sent me a pdf eBook with the first five Harry Potter books in it. The first four look legit, but the fifth one is formatted terribly. And is absolutely, completely, 100% different from the real Order of the Phoenix.

Good lord. It SOUNDS like it's almost written by Rowling, sort of, but so much weird shit is in this one. Snape and Harry get chummy, there's a pretty heavy emphasis on Harry's and Hermione's relationship, and Harry learns how to turn into a griffin.

I've actually heard of that one. I think that was one of the extremely popular fanfictions out there that a lot of people came to actually accept as being part of the Harry Potter storyline. *shrugs*

One of these days I'm going to get around to reading those books. Been wanting to...

See thats funny. Because there are some points in reading the Harry Potter series that I wouldnt have minded someone else writing them instead of JK.
