I used to be able to stay up and watch the 11 o'clock news during the week.

Now I'm lucky to make the 10 o'clock hour news.

What happend?

Where'd I go wrong?

My kids are staying up longer then me!!

Its not right.

I guess I'm turing old.

Caffeine. Use it. Abuse it.

Getting up before 10am used to be unheard of. Now 8 is seriously sleeping in.

I've noticed the same thing. But I blame it on the winter. I always hated cold weather and would always prefer snuggling up under the covers. Hopefully I'll snap back once the ground thaws in April, and enjoy staying up til midnite again.

I find that the during the week when I need to get to sleep early I am wide eyed but when the weekend comes and I can actually stay up I am passed out by 10pm or so.

I woke up at 6:30 this morning

And I'm unbelievably tired by like 10:30pm now. I blame the sun and its hot energy-sucking powers.

I like to take a nap after wallstreet closes for regular hours (unless it's earnings season ughhhh) or if I've made enough money trading that I feel I can just abandon the day.

That means I have enough energy to walk Abel, feed him, take him out, and work out.

Then, I sleep again, see my boyfriend at least a few hours, sleep again, and get up for the next day. Short naps are your friends.

It certainly makes life seem longer. Every time I do something like this I feel like I've lived 2-3 full days in < 24 hours.

I pity you old folks with your depends and you inability to stay awake. Why if I ever reach that point in my life, I'd be sitting on the front porch with a beer can in my left hand and my right hand rubbing my belly as I yelled at the neighborhood kids. Or I could do what PB does and pretend that I'm actually young.

I swear, caffeine does nothing in the way of boosting my energy. I have alot though so it matters not. Short naps are your friend.

Reason number two I know I'm getting old.

My wife and I bought our son an electric razor for Christmas.
