As Beethoven's birthday is December 17, I offer one of my favorite pieces by him.

The Egmont Overture (http://s46.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0YCVV50JVLJBO0CN4WN3F1HF2L) conducted by Toscanini, one of the most famous and respected conductors of Beethoven of all time.

I may put up more if there's interest. I dunno if anyone else loves Beethoven as much as I do.

Enjoy!

Not on a Mac, Xyelin. I run iTunes, which uses m4a files just fine. If you guys want an mp3, lemme know. I'll rip it from the CD again.

Eh, heck with it. I ripped it from the CD again. mp3 file at 160 kbps.

The Egmont Overture (http://s44.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1YS3X8DNFALNC37OCVC9TN80IQ), again conducted by Toscanini.

Beethoven has always been one of my favorites.

just last night we listened to Serkin playing the Moonlight and Appassionata sonatas. The second movement of the Appassionata has always seemed to me to be an almost perfectly composed.

I would say at least one person here loves Beethoven as much as you do.

Yeah, yousendit.com only allows for 25 downloads or 7 days after upload. Here's (http://s54.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=32U5KRKFESXM40XUPS3ZMDTWO0) another upload. See if that works.

Another bit of Beethoven for you guys.

Fourth Movement of the Seventh Symphony (http://s54.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=28ZGZMJBNHTUJ053LXOKO7K4K7), again conducted by Toscanini.

If music can ever dance, this is it.
