Melissa held the State of Elanthia seminar earlier and released some information on four different things.

First: Attribute Adder System. Basically for anyone who knows about D&D (Or even Diablo II), it's where you have items that effect attributes. Lets say for example a +20 ST Bonus gauntlet or a muscle belt that will add 25 to your MS when using Tackle. Pretty limitless in the scope of skills they can add bonuses or penalties to (i.e. +20 Strength but -20 Intel ring of power). Really interesting things here. They can also be limited as much as they want, for example you must be a wizard guild master that is mastered in CoL to use the +XX to XXXX amulet.

PC Run Shops: Similar to Premium homes in that they can be set up in a merchant bazaar type area, these would require purchasing a deed, a permit to built, taxes, hiring an NPC merchant to sell the stuff, etc etc. You could put up signs to describe whatever items you put on the table to sell. You could put up anything, from cobbled shoes to a locker cleanout, to imbeded items you want to sell. Really neat stuff.

Layered Clothing: Basically redoing how clothing stacks. This would totally eliminate any "pin worn" items and make them what they should be. You could wear a shirt, then a jacket, then a cloak all over your armor, and only the cloak would be visible when it is closed (for example). May or may not be able to rearrange items in your inventory, they aren't sure yet. Possibility to wear more rings (As long as they aren't magical) was also mentioned as a possibility.

The fourth one did not have much information, but it was mentioning a sixth race that was a shape shifter. The example given was being in combat and then turning into a hawk and flying away from danger. Sounds interesting anyway, no real info was given at all, other than this was like a phase 3 (way future) plan.
