I can't imagine being in the situation where I have to throw my baby out the window.

Some of the posters here would throw their cats outs first but that's besides the point... personally I'd use the cat to stuff the crack under the door to stop the smoke.

When I saw that I just froze for a second. That was hugely brave and risky.
I like the way they all fucked off and left the rest to burn though.

I agree. I did have about 1 1/2 tears fall when I took her to see lion king. I couldn't help it the whole FUCKING place was balling.

You've both lost your man-card.

::shudder:: Couldn't do it. I'd use my own body as a shield, but I couldn't throw my child into the hands of fate like that.

Saw this on the news, they said she thought she was going to die anyway with her baby and it was her one chance to save him.

Glad they both pulled through.

There is nothing brave about risking someone else's life. That was risky and, potentially, a last ditch effort. But it seems more like a decision made out of panic.

If the firefighters were able to get the mother out then they would have been able to rescue the baby at the same time. That was panic. Staying near the window was the smartest thing she did.

No man, I should have clarified.
I thought the guys committed to catching the baby were the brave ones.
Oh and the baby for jumping. (jk)

The guy who caught the baby was the Catcher for the local baseball team.
