Okay, so heres the deal. I cant leave Icemule.
If I run a travel script, it gets hung up at the branch at the very beginning, freezes, and kicks me out of the game. I've downloaded new scripts, done pretty much everything I could think of. No dice. Different characters.. same thing. Also. I cant drink anything in game without freezing up. There might be more commands, but so far thats what I have discovered.
Yesterday I couldnt even manually walk past the branch.
Today I can walk past the branch, and I have found that with both commands that hang me up, if I type LOOK right afterward, it will work.
So what the hell is wrong, and how do I fix it? Or am I doomed to look at everything 1000 times just to drink something in game.

Make sure your computer isn't set to February 2nd by mistake?

Use the Universal Travel Script! I made it awhile back, has travel between all the major towns. Just search for that thread, my name.

Older scripts don't have the new "gate rooms" of Icemule. This includes the Universal Travel Script. To get around this, wait until you are in the Barbican and the script is no longer sending commands to the game. Then pause the script (shift-esc), type out, type west, and unpause the script.

A travel script that crashes the FE or hangs when you drink something is an extremely awful travel script. You could salvage it eventually, but there's no point.

I use townhop, have no problem going to/from Icemule. Of course, I also use SF.

There is one extra room: there is an extra south from South Road.

and the same on the way there, one extra north?

Nope. It's the same all the way to Icemule's gate.

Sounds like your FE is all screwed up. Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling? Did you try StormFront? Try using a travel guide to bypass that spot?

Like in the game, when I am not scripting or anything, it hangs when I try to drink something. It freezes completely, and then boots me out. UNLESS I type Look directly after I type Drink whatever.

I've gotten all new scripts to leave Icemule, and I have the sbc thingy too. But they all freeze on the branch. They get to it just fine. Its just once the script does climb branch. Boom! Insta-boot. And they were all working fine mere days ago.

Updated the Universal Travel Script. Will bump it soon.

Personally, I think you're going to have to uninstall and then reinstall your front end, whether that be SF or Wizard. It sounds like an issue with that rather than scripts. I know the scripts I sent you work fine for me so I don't believe it's an issue with that.

Exactly. Everyone keeps assuming its a scripting problem. In her first post she states she could not even walk past the branch BY HAND without the FE freezing up.

I recomend you open that folder. Take all your scripts/logs that you want to keep out. Delete the wizard folder and reinstall.

Yah I did that. But that didnt work either. Same hang ups as ever. I guess I am just a freak of nature in more ways than one.

You can always try to write to techhelp@simutronics.com and then explain the situation to them. The onsite tech guys may be able to figure out what is wrong. They might have seen something like this before.
