Although for some reason most people I know thought he was dead already, he wasn't, but well now he is.

His stand up was great.

Come to think of it I thought he was dead too.

Gene Wilder is in bad shape though last I heard, bad liver or something, and I think his wife is in the crapper too. I know when I looked at it like 9 months ago, I didnt expect him to last another year. I love him so.

:( He wasn't looking so good in his last few television appearances.

He was a very entertaining man who had some hard times in his life. I hope he rests in peace.

You may have thought he was dead because he had either MS or a condiion like MS very seriously for some time. I think he did eventually have to stop performing. Too sad. R.I.P

Gene Wilder’s wife, the brilliant Gilda Radner, died a few years ago from cancer I think.
RIP Mr. Pryor. Thank you for making me pee my pants when I was younger.

Pryor had also been suffering from multiple sclerosis for almost 20 years.
I loved him, rest in peace RP

Gene Wilder suffered from non-Hodgkins lymphoma, but I'm pretty sure he was cured of that. Haven't seen much of him in awhile, which is a shame. He's a funny, funny guy.

Heh... that Scene from the Silver Streak keeps flashing through my mind. Wilder with a radio and the look on Pryor's face. Priceless.

Not sure if this was posted (didn't see it anyway), but Richard Pryor passed away from a heart attack over the weekend.
Love him or hate him, he was a true entertainer. My favorite roles he did would have to be in The Toy and in Harlem Nights. His standup is legendary, of course.
:lol2:
Bless you, trouble.

Gene Wilder was on a Will & Grace rerun the other night. Still funny as hell, altough I"m not sure how old the episode was.
Was it the one where he was wills boss?
The urinal scene made me cry with laughter and the guy seemed damn healthy.
Love Gene.

His standup where all he did was say nigger this and nigger that wasn't funny. His other stuff was. And his act where he took a lit match and moved around saying it was a mini version of him was ok.
Loved his movies and most of his comedy, but the parts where he just dropped the N bomb for a laugh...meh.
