FP: Worth it or not?

Was the Foehn's Promise worth whatever you invested in it (whether that be time, money, lack of sleep, whatever)?

Although I don't think the items hold a candle to the previous FP in some respects.

I snagged a pretty neat item. And since I was like the fourth person to win something, it took about an hour time investment tops. I think it was worth the cash.

I got the fuzzy catepiller of this year's Promise, but I still had fun.

Well worth it, in my mind. Many various items I would have bid on, and the item I did snag fits my character perfectly.

Nordred won the Riverboat, but that's all I know of.

As for the cloak..hehehe. I was SO so happy to win that cloak. It was one of the three things I truly wanted and since the other two were not available for me due to losing or just going for too much silvers in the auction room, I could not be happier.

I definately had fun. Got to spend time with GS friends and shoot the breeze.

Knowing I could butt heads in the auction room probably took a lot of pressure of me though. That and I have enough characters I'm interested in getting items for that I wasn't too picky.

Considering I just had my 4x blessable taken to 5x and remain blessable by an enchanting merchant... I'd say the FP was DEFINITELY worth it for me. :D

It was alright, I guess. I didn't get a chance to spend more than an hour logged in until sunday afternoon, so a lot of the good stuff was gone. I ended up getting a db cloak, which isn't that bad. I'm considering trading it in for premie points though, so that I can pad my armor.

I'm happy with the item I got. Course, I got a sketchbook so it's totally an item for personal use and not resale value.

I was stoked to actually be able to stand up in the auction room and be able to bid on stuff. I remember last FP I was totally in awe of the auction room.

The dance contest was a ton of fun and I got a nifty medal for that.

I HATE Danahue and love him all at once. I nearly had a heart attack when that knife blew up. At least he sorta fixed it and enchanted it.

All in all, I'm pretty pleased. The chat's kept me entertained and archiving stuff has kept me busy. I am gonna have a lot more fun now that the whole stressfull auction stuff is over. I think I'd much rather have it be during the weekend only like this and get it all out of the way. I feel bad for people who work on weekends, but that's just the way things are sometimes.
