Ahh. I just noticed the silvers room ones. Pretty sweet if you nab one. The Promise is almost enough to make me wish I still had a GS account open. It's funny. I started a bit after the last Promise, and left a bit before this one.

I'd be chasing multi setting teleport or self mana if I was going.

Gold door

In the gold chest you see a red-flecked pale vultite jeddart-axe, a ruby-pinned white silk sash, a parti-colored blue and white kite, a fragment of age-yellowed vellum, a gleaming white steel longsword, a rough-cut milky blue crystal and a polished steel band.


Small flecks of bright bloody crimson stand out starkly against the pale silvery-grey vultite of the jeddart-axe's broad curving blade. Darker inclusions mar the metal as well, clustering more densely where the blade joins the long black fel shaft. A meandering row of eahnor studs winds its way in a loose spiral down the shaft with increasingly distant spacing, ending in a squared-off cap at the lower end. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Strengthened satin stretched over thanot stays create this half-blue, half-white kite emblazoned with a silver unicorn dusted with diamonds chips, giving it an almost magical aura. Depicted in a trot, when the kite is flying, the unicorn almost appears to soar through the skies.

You see a fragment of age-yellowed vellum with edges that are sharply defined and a dim glow highlights something written upon it. The writing, although faded is just clear enough to make out what it says. You sense that the magic is fully charged.

silver door

In the silver chest you see a sapphire blue tome, a tarnished bronze-belled warhorn, a gold-banded white ora Hammer of Kai, a long mithril-bound box, a red-lacquered stiff leather tome, a branching golden glowbark staff and a coiled mithril ring.

Carefully stitched on the weathered cover of the tome are the words, "Herblore of Ta'Illistim"

The warhorn's surface has been worn with use, and the years have had their toll on the old horn. A once-fine design is barely noticeable in the tarnished bell of the horn, and the mouthpiece looks like it will soon need replacement. An old steel chain, links polished where they interlock, is attached to small loops near the bell and mouthpiece, allowing the horn to be easily attached to a belt.

Tiny flakes of deep orange amber and pale green adventurine form a leafy mosaic along the gold bands that stripe the spiked head of the Hammer of Kai. The blunt face of the hammer head is inlaid with gold wire forming the outline of a sunflower blossom. More gold wire wraps the long yellow oak shaft of the polearm in a spiral of dense braid. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Crafted from sheets of some light, pale grey metal, this box is narrow yet very long as though designed to carry weapons or similarly shaped items. Fittings of burnished mithril reinforce the edges and corners. The clasp of the box is also forged of mithril and seems excessively complicated for a simple carrying case.\

Carefully stitched on the weathered cover of the tome are the words, "Herblore of Kharam Dzu"

Two-thirds of the way up its slender length, the polished golden glowbark staff branches into three naturally spiraling limbs that wind closely about each other before splitting off into smaller branchings of their own. Dangling from the spiraling branches are tiny cerulean glimaerstones cut to mimic glowbark leaves, interspersed with a fine netting of delicate golden chain. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

The ring is crafted from what appear to be strands of pure platinum, wrought into an exquisite domed shape. Tiny golden figures of various animals decorate the band, while three black pearl dragons grace the dome.

You tap a coiled mithril ring set with a carved emerald frog in a silver chest.

Bronze door

In the copper chest you see a chain-linked golden plate belt, a barbed ruby-tipped pitchfork, a dappled grey and white tome, a golvern falchion, a spotted cream and tan goat, a quartered mithglin shield and a black ora flail.

The faintest of crimson sheens glistens on the surface of the pitchfork. Each slender tine ends in a serrated ruby barb, and several wavy sigils trace a sinuous line down the dark bloodwood shaft. A larger ruby, carved to resemble a leaping flame, caps the end of the shaft. The pitchfork glows with a dim light.

Carefully stitched on the weathered cover of the tome are the words, "Herblore of Pinefar and Aenatumgana"

You see nothing unusual.

You tap a feather-hilted golvern falchion etched with a fall of snowflakes in a copper chest.

l goat
Covered with real goat hide, this toy goat has an almost lifelike appearance, complete with floppy ears, warm brown eyes and a stubby little tail. Only the subtle glint of metal beneath the hide betrays the fact that this goat is mechanical in nature rather than biological. A wide leather collar with a small copper bell surrounds the animal's neck. Tooled upon the collar is the name, "Caribou."

You see nothing unusual, except for a small enchanter's glyph.

You tap a black and blue quartered mithglin shield inlaid with a blooming silver rose in a copper chest.

The black ora flail is shrouded in swirling shadows from top to bottom and no amount of light seems to be able to penetrate the gloom.
