Who have you run into thats noteworthy or a celebrity? Have you had a star sighting today? Post them here

I'll start this off by saying I sat behind Tone LOC on a short flight today from Salt Lake City to the Burbank airport.

I discreetly asked the person he was with when Tone got up to use the restroom to confirm that was indeed the unique voice I heard. The guy said he was, and thanked me for being discreet, and that Tone wouldnt mind at all if I said hello.

I shook his [Tone's] hand [when we landed] and told him thanks for all of the memories his music represented for me.

Props for old school hip hop.

While visiting a cousin in Malibu Anthony Hopkins and Adam Sandler came into the pet store that she worked at. Also while I was in Vegas I ran into Bruce Willis and Leonardo DiCaprio. (Not at the same time.)

DiCaprio looks old, by the way... O_o

Saw Juelz Santana today. I don't know how much of a celebrity he counts as, but he sold a fair number of cds this week.

That always amazes me, how big in person people are. Like Stallone is a freakin midgit! I heard he was in the same rest. as me one night. So I am looking around for this hulk of a man and here he comes walking by with his massive 5'4 self or however tall he is. Me being 6'2, I towered over him lol.

Here's a good one...

Pulled up to the gas station down the road from my house when I was in St. Paul, Minnesota. I noticed an amazing european sports car of unknown make. Thought little of it and walked into the store.

Inside. A scene.

A short man with long dark hair yelling at a taller blond woman. He's cruising around the store yelling at her, she's at the front talking to the cashier. In typical minnesotan passive aggressive, I walk around to the the scene to get what I need.

Man yells things like, "Drink bleach you bitch!"

Woman buys some stuff and leaves. Man follows. They drive off in the nice car. I get up to the cash register and ask what that was about. Cashier says, "Man that was Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas."

No kidding, once I thought about it, it obviously was. I had shortly after Griffith and been staying at Hazelton for some kind of rehab.

Craziness.

Unique.

I want to meet and I don't know what I'm going to do if I ever meet Jake Gyllenhaal. I have never been into celebrities, until now. I am just sooo into him. As in Gaga! I was at chapters looking for a book and picking up magazines and I glanced at Detail magazine with him in the cover. I had this big grin on my face all the way to the counter and hugging the magazine to my chest. It's infront of me right now, everytime I look at it.. I can't help but have this ridiculous duuurrr look on my face.

Anyways.. Sightings. I've had lots. From A list to D list. I guess ones that is quite memorable is Matthew McConaughey. It was during Sept 11. My boyfriend then, called my cell to tell me about the terrorist attack.. and Matthew was standing right next to me talking on the phone.. all grungy. I was whispering on the phone, OMG babes.. Matthew McConaughey is standing right beside me.. and he was like.. babess?? the twin towers are gone and they're calling for an emergency where you are! coz apparently, people thought they were going to bomb major cities in north america.

and oh. Shemar moore. It was during a Toronto film fest after party.. He was in the VIP room, and saw him making out with 2 girls, then this gay guy sat on his lap and apparently made out with him too.

Edit. Nickelback too, met them backstage.

I saw Mick Jagger (boy he's all pale and wrinkly..) and AJ from BET when I played Carnival this year.

Didn't manage to get a shot of Jagger but managed to get AJ

He looks way better in person than he did in this pic *cough*

I met Freddy Mitchell (former Eagles WR) at a bar about a month ago. Hung out with him and his friend for like an hour. He let me and the rest of the people I was with wear his Eagles NFC Championship ring.

I also saw Eli Manning last night at Pat's steaks in South Philly. He was riding around in a monster limo.

WHAT!?! Too hot!

I haven't really seen many celebs. The ice skater chick Oksana Baiul came in my store once when she was training at UD. And I saw Penelope Cruz shoppin in NYC last time I went. Ohhh and I definitely hugged Stephen Jenkins from Third Eye Blind when we met him after a concert. :D

My parents went to North Texas U and my Dad was in the Jazz band. Turns out, many of their classmates went on to be the band for the first season of Saturday Night Live.

When we lived in NY I went to the show with Steve Martin doing King Tut. I was too scared to meet him, although we were backstage and I saw him in passing.

A few years later they all came through LA to shoot The Blues Brothers. We were on set for a dress rehearsal of Bob’s Country bunker and go to sit in and watch sans beer bottles crashing on the chicken wire in front of the band. Dan Akroyd and John Belushi both signed my cast. I still have it.

Saw Bill Murray at the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am last year. But I guess that dosnt count because so many other people saw him too.

But i was like, *right there*, maybe twenty feet away. He looked old. :-/ I wanted to go 'WHO YA GONNA CALL??!!! GHOSTBUSTERS!! Instead I clapped quietly and went with the moving crowd.

met a bunch of sports celebs.

Jim McMahon and Charles Barkley were both cool as hell.

Raleigh Fingers and Paul O'Neil were both kinda stand offish dicks.

Davey Johnson told me a story about Marge Schott, and then told me life is all about pussy

Sabo, George Gervin, Dan Patrick, Rob Dibble, Johnny Bench, and Mike Schmidt were nice enough to acknowledge me, but didn't spend much time talking. did get a handshake from all of them though.

I got Afro Man to sign my hat earlier this year. He's been reduced to performing for college fraternity events.

I saw Howie Long and Terry Bradshaw at a bar in Charlottesville my first year in college during rush. Somewhere in my room I have a snapshot of me and some of my rush buddies slightly inebbriated with them in the background laughing at us. Bradshaw told me that next time I go out, I should iron my shirt. Howie Long is around town a good bit because his son plays football here.

John Elway's daughter is a resident in my dorm building. She's under the impression nobody knows who her dad is. I met her mom on move-in day; she's really down to earth and looks like she was HOT 10 years ago. Still attractive.

Saw Dave Chappelle do standup at ODU last year...hilairious to hear him rip on white college girls.

One of my residents was in a Target in Atlanta, and happened to be looking at a box set season of '24' and at that moment Kiefer Sutherland walks by and says, "Good choice."

What a fucking tool. Keifer Sutherland, not your resident, that is, though I imagine if he submitted to your authority, he was, as well, a tool.

Do you think actors do that often, troll the DVD aisles near their just-releaseds, hoping someone will validate their existence by buying the movie/show they were in?

I once ran into Chuck Norris at CD's saloon and when I asked for an autograph he promptly melded into shadowform and melted my face with a mean blue glowing roundkick.

He then finished his 64 ounce porterhouse in one bite.

While in the Army I met Vince Vaughn, Billy Blanks, and saw Dean Cain. I also met Bill Stevenson of Black Flag and Descendents fame.

I've met alot of sports people. David Cone bought me KFC once. Actually he paid my brother $50 bucks to go buy the entire team and staff KFC but none the less I met him and shook his hand.

Sat next next to David Wells and he bought me a beer once at Pete and Shorty's here in Clearwater.

Mike Alstott held up my daughter whilst he screemed for a pic.. that I've since lost.

I met Carlos Santana at hooters. I didn't say anything to him but some dick came up to him while he was diggin on his food and after he left he leaned across the divider where the booth was and said "Can you believe these people?" and chuckled.

Use to hang out with out David Bush .. now a starting pitcher for the Blue Jays. He even let me crash on the floor in his hotel room at the all-star game with several other pitchers. Very cool down to earth guy. He sucks at beer pong.

Sam Wyche handed me his hat after a Bucs game. Old school orange and white with "SAM" in sharpie on the bill.

Warrick Dunn lived next door in Tcity. Very quiet.. never partied. Upstanding human being.

I could list shitloads. This area is great for meeting sports celebs.

I have the ability to call somebody that I might just happen to be related to and may be able to make myself mysteriously have in my possession what could be speculated as courtside tickets to any arena supporting a certain professional sporting event.

That being said, in complete disconnection with what may or may not be having dinner with such a hypothetical being every three or four months, having gone to a private school on the upper East Side of Manhattan means that stopping by certain celebrities'/business owners'/famous authors'/etc.'s residences was a pretty much daily occurance...

All in all, what really matters is that I went to school with Leelee Sobieski and she is a hotty to the extreme.

Wow... talk about digging up some notables.

I'll throw on a few more.

Kenny Rogers - met at a concert.
Keith Whitley - met at a concert - got autograph.
Danny Bonaduce (partridge family) - employed with Aramark and met him at the corp. offices back in 1998.
Alan Greenspan - Texas Council on Economic Education Awards Banquet at the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank.
Vincente Fox - (when he was CEO of Coca Cola - Mexico) at same awards banquet.

1989 Season Houston Oilers (was one of the ballboys for summer training camp and pre-season). Was Jerry Glanville's last year. I was assigned to Frank Novak (RB coach) and assisted with Kevin Gilbride (QB/WR coach). That was back in the day though. I also met Earl Campbell but he was only visiting the training facility.

Thats all I can think of historically...

Lots of Giants players were customers. Some were dicks, most were really nice though.

One of the most arrogant pro players I've ever met was ironically a third string point guard for the nets. I wanted to just scream at him to let his ego deflate a bit becuase he was third string, not an all star, not even a starter.

Patrick Ewing was a regular at one branch i worked at. He is WAY taller in person than he looked on tv, quiet, but polite when bugged for autographs.

Mike Piazza is kinda tall, but just a really broad guy, another one who seemed far larger in person than on TV, we had to cut an uber big check to the irs for him one day that he spent like 4 hours in the building with our private banking reps and his people. All the other women on staff were completely drooling over him after having so much time to just stare at him heh.

Whitney Houston was also a client at that branch, her company mostly did business there, but yeesh, even her back up singers were loaded. One I remember had just a humongous balance in a plain old savings account and when i was telling her we could do much better for her she was so not interested.

I met Paris Hilton when I was like 16 and no one knew who Paris Hilton was, we were both stuck in this resort hotel, my dad had some conference that he took the family along for, I forget why she was there. We hung out some while we were there. Years later I was cleaning out an old bag and I found her number from the time. I forgot that we had exchanged numbers like we were gonna call each other (one of those things where you are just doing it to be polite).

Cuba Gooding Jr, Kate Beckinsale, and Josh Hartnett during the filming of Pearl Harbor. I lived in Hawaii and the scene where Josh tells Kate that Ben died was filmed next door to where Rick worked. So we stood outside on the porch area and watched. They had to retake that scene a number of times, was interesting. (We also got to watch the plane runs over Ford Island while the filmed the bombing scenes)

Cuba Gooding JR signed some autographs but I don't collect those so didn't get one.

While at the airport waiting for our ride in LA, Keira Knightley pulled up next to us to pick someone up. She was like 6 feet away leaning on her car waiting but I left her alone. Just don't get bugging celebs.

Only other two was meeting Celine Dion's husband Rene, and when I was like 13, I met the New Kids on the Block at their concert on my Birthday in Germany.

I got to meet Johnny Cash after his concert when I was really REALLY young. My dad was working security at his concert, so we got in for free and got to meet him afterwards. My younger brother got his autograph.

I was behind Richard Greico in line at a store in my hometown mall. He grew up in the same town as me.

Can't remember who they are at the moment, but I went to a local concert while in high school and got my picture taken with the 3 ladies backstage after they had changed. I'll have to dig up the picture and post. Maybe someone will know who they are. Possibly The Pointer Sisters.

Mostly for the Brits... I met Craig Doyle (TV Presenter, he did Holiday I think..) Was at a pier and I ran into him by accident, spilt milkshake on his shirt. He was filming for kids TV at the time though so he just hugged me. Sweet guy and fucking hot.

Also met Damage and Peter Andre in my town after a radio one roadshow. Peter is deffo ugly in real life.

Met Josh Jackson (Pacey from Dawsons Creek) and Patrick Stewart of Star Trek fame outside Starbucks in London a few months ago. Had been to see a play they were in that night. Josh was sooooo hot.

Also... Just last week a pretty famous actor was admitted to the ward I work on and was one of my patients. Can't really talk about it too much though as I don't fancy facing a Nursing and Midwifery Council disciplinary hearing any time soon! ;)

Oh yeaaa I met the members of the Outfield Air Supply and Starship on my 15th birthday (which kicked ass). Got autographs from all of 'em.

Got backstage cuz I had to have someone page my friend's dad. I never got that page but we got to meet our favorite radio personalities (our local Luis Hart is so funny). We also didn't recognize the drummer for Air Supply who was hanging out with us and chatting to us so we assumed he was just a fan that got a backstage pass. He laughed at us when he excused himself and strode up onstage. Our jaws just dropped lol, it was so funny.

I almost bumped into Callista Flockhart while jogging in Manhattan once. She's Tiny!

I was walking past this bar one night in Brooklyn near my apartment, and this drunk guy stumbles out, nearly bumping into myself and the girl I was dating at the time. She says, "Holy shit! That's Quinten Tarentino! I was like nah... Let's go inside. Sure enough, 15 minutes later, he comes back in. And it was him! I talked with him for about a half hour. Some girl in the bar was ragging on him so bad, saying how Jackie Brown utterly sucked. He was so drunk he could barely stand... But he gave me his business card. I *think* I still have it somewhere, but who knows?

I also met Jimmy Conners (old western star), Colm Meany (star trek), and Darryl Hammond.

Oh yeah... forgot one... George Murisan (sp?). He's a big 7'7 ogre that used to play Basketball. He was also in that movie, "My Giant" with Billy Crystal. He bought a house in NJ about 4 years ago, and always used to come into the Home Depot where I worked at the time.

The first time I saw him, he was crouched down looking at a piece of lumber. He stood up, leaning against the 8 foot 2x4 and to my shock, he was almost as tall as it. He asked, "How much is this?" And I started laughing hysterically. His buddy comes up to me after I regain my composure, saying, "Don't worry. He gets that alot."

Celebs I have met

Michael J Fox (nice guy)
Judd Nelson (nice guy)
Chris Farley (very funny, has me rolling in the aisles, excellent physical comedian, funny without trying)
Gregory Hines (real class act)
Judge Reinhold ( a real dick)
Graham Greene (actor not author) – I literally knocked him over while rushing down a Toronto street. He was a real gentleman about it. I bought him a coffee to make up for flattening him.

Farah Fawcett (I was 6 and my Dad tried to smooze her unsuccessfully)

Plus a few others I can’t remember their names

I have met other local celebs and lots of Canadian politicians.

Sightings to numerous to mention (Toronto has become a Mecca for movie filming)

This girl I went to elementary school with was cousins with Scott Weinger, the guy who played DJ's boyfriend on Full House and was the voice of Aladdin. He is a real sweet guy.

When I worked for Dave & Busters in Hollywood, we had a lot of celebrities that would come in there. I actually was a server for Bobbby Brown, who was a complete jackass and a totally shitty tipper.

Adam Sandler came in and was playing The 19th Hole which is this golf simulator. It was right after Happy Gilmore so it was hysterical to watch him ham it up. He was SO different then I expected. I went up to him and said hi and he was all quiet and shy and stuff.

Also met Paul Walker - he was in there with his wife and kids. OJ Simpson was good friends with the guy who was the General Manager there, that was kinda cool. Chris Benoit from wrestling - OMG THAT was awesome meeting him. I have watched him my whole life and was like - HOLY CRAP! He was really nice and we talked for a bit. He was a lot shorter than I expected!

I've met a bunch of wrestlers actually. Terry Funk, Sandman, Norm Smiley, Dr Death, Raven. I went to a Major League Wrestling event in South FL and they were there signing autographs and taking pictures. It was awesome. When I was in Minnesota for a convention, Jesse Ventura was doing an event there and got to check him and his bodyguards out, but not get close enough for a pic :(

I worked at a private resort on Fort Lauderdale Beach adn we'd have people stay there because of how secluded we were. Got to meet Ed McMahon, Peter Jennings, Rachel Ray, Sophia Loren, Dan Marino, and we had some senators stay there too.

I met a crapload of baseball players when I was in high school. We used to work at the stadium during games so they were always around. That was neat.

I have autographs from Barbara Eden and Shirley Muldowney which is really neat cause they're somethin I'll give to my kids someday.

Hrm...I'm sure there's others I'm forgetting, but those are the ones that stick in my head right now.

Oh yeah, my former roomie was in a local band in South FL and he was playing a show at a club. I always was the 'honorary roadie' of the group to be able to get in to the clubs for free and drink free all while being under 21. I'd just pick up the bass and be like "I'm with the band".

Anyways, that show he opened for Suicidal Tendencies and I got to hang out on stage and party with those guys. They were absolutely insane!

Same friend - he grew up with Brian Warner A.K.A. Marilyn Manson. Talk about a weird guy to hang out with. He's totally twisted. I thought the whole Manson thing was a facade but nope. He's just wierd.

I met Biggie Smalls, Lil' Kim, the whole Jr. Mafia crew when they came out. Met Jodeci, Boot Camp Click, Smith & Weston, I forgot this groups name, but I met the group when Mr. Cheeks was still alive. They sang that song "Renee", lolz. I swear to God, when I was 18 TuPac came up to my car and asked me and my boyfriend for change. Then, he said he was going to L.A. to do some celebrity look alike and get paid, lolz. He did look like TuPac though. Also, met one of the Killer Bees from WuTang. I don't know which one.
