So I'm hunting my noob bard in snow spectres and this gimp Bnell keeps joining me for my bard spells. I tell him to stop and so he says something like Bards aren't meant to be pricks. So I sleep and tap him gently, which kills him.

So he brings in his MA instantly, Seyv, and kills me. So I get Chiv (props dude) to nail him and rescue me. So I get raised and go back out for revenge. This is what happens:

This reminds me, we should have a PC or GS (or both) Darwin Award thread.

Way to play GS just for the money! Quite marvelous roleplaying, as well.

Curiously enough...leveling characters can help one make more money in Gemstone.

Don't be so naive. You know as well as I do that if he were just playing for 'money', he wouldn't roll up a new character from scratch. It would be more 'economic' to buy higher leveled characters and work on THEM.

Regardless, 30k a day means a lot of devoted hours to the game -- which leads me to conclude he's full of shite.

< It would be more 'economic' to buy higher leveled characters and work on THEM. >

When you have a capped skinning cleric, it's pretty easy to say you play GS for money. Granted, starting a new character seems to be for fun, but you never know, he might actually have multiple accounts running at once.

Out of curiousity, any more killings after the Host left?

I saw that you mentioned that they got a Host and distorted the story to their favor.

It'd be amusing if they cried wolf and then went after you.

Buying a character for loresinging/purification doesn't seem worth it.

Given a certain person's record they might want to reconsider calling anyone else, "full of it." Ever.

Personally, if I wanted a character that bad, I'd make it myself. I wanted a Bard so much in fact, I made two. Physical and Magical each. Magical bard, considering his use, is older, but I still enjoy both.

Voting card please.

Bards rarely get sold and if they do, for alot of money. Plus, none of my characters are elves. And as I do my money making in TI I'm missing out on 15% each hunt, not including his sizable Inf bonus and trading skill. And where does 30k a day come from, you fucking muppet? If you read that thread you'd find out it was 30k A WEEK. Roughly six hours of scripted hunting.

I'm sorry to say, sir, but my Gemstone accounts are cancelled. My 'roleplaying' of calling out spells is from Final Fantasy Tactics, thanks very much, NOT 'DBZ'. Your log, however, looked more DBZish to me. It looked like a big kill fest, with no interaction other than spell flinging and sword swinging.

Oh, you're quite clever. I made no mention of your 'tactical' roleplaying, mind you. Good show on coming in to 'save the day', however! I'm sure your character heard of the incidents between these guys and just magically appeared at the scene out of goodwill?!

All in response too. But then I don't see how you can lecture; you've already been pwned in this thread by multiple people for being not only wrong, but for being a lying dumbass. Not to mention that someone who named their character Jenovadeath, and uses expressions from FFT, who abuses MA's and is generally a lying piece of trash shouldn't be condemning ANYONE's RP ability.

How, curiously, have I 'abused MA's?'

Woe is me to name my character to the likes of something popular back in 1997. A thousand pardons, your majesty.

I forgot that 'Stay' is the most midieval roleplaying name I have ever heard of!

In retrospect, I don't believe I've been 'pwned' by anyone, save for the likes, perhaps in your own mind, by the ignorant drivel you continue to spew.

Hmmm, so you didn't use Xenogais to pester Stun when he raped you a while back? And again, Jenovadeath has to be the dumbest name in GS history. I think you even trump Starsnuffer.

Yeah you've been pwned by pretty much everyone here.

And "midieval" isn't even a word you cretin.

I forgot the word 'apposed', as you so brilliantly stated earlier, is considered a routine spelling of 'opposed'.

When HE 'raped' me? I seem to recall myself having the upper hand in that skirmish, but that is neither here nor there.

Do you have some sort of infatuation with handicapped people? You always seem to be calling people cretins, retarded, or gimps. I assure you I am none of the above. Your childish insults to that degree may even prove to offend people that post here that actually have such handicaps in their family, so I suggest shutting that enormous piehole of yours, guv.

Starsnuffer, by the way, was more of an asset to Gemstone then you'll ever be.

I doubt the dumbass really understands basic language, Bratt. He can't seem to absorb stuff that gets posted. Upper hand? He was level 50. You were level 100. He killed you. Ie, you lost. It took two of your characters to track him down and finish him off.

I'm sure people will forgive the retard comments as well, especially when they are directed at you.

Starsnuffer being more of an asset? Maybe. That depends. Or if I care. I don't play GS for stupid ego boosts (unlike some), nor do I pretent to think that I can somehow change or effect GS lore so far into it's history. I, however, doubt (if I am remembered) that my characters won't be referred to as a douchebag idiot on an ego trip with a stupid name. Can we say the same for you?

Nope. You've already been forgotten by the populace.

Or most of us can ever be, Jenova. He started playing at a time when the core group of players was very small. He was extremely dedicated to the game and he is the only PC to have created his own race and had it implemented by Simu in-game. He spent many years and a great deal of time working with and working for Gemstone.

That being said, Starsnuffer had some extremely negative vices which those of us in the Obsidian Tower still deal with today.
