... is sold out pretty much everywhere.
Major online retailers are sold out or say they'll have it in stock within a few weeks. Circuit City customer service said there was one (white, though I wanted black) available 40 minutes from me. But before she could add it to my cart, it was sold.
I found a smaller online site that said they had a limited supply and limited 1 per customer. I ordered the 30gb black and we'll see what happens. Planning on calling them Monday to be sure they have it in inventory.
I went on mininova.org and PQ DVD to Ipod Video Converter. Nice program. Converts DVD and downloaded movie files (Divx, Avi, Mpeg) into Ipod format and retains the widescreen aspect (which I couldn't find in any other program).
I've already converted 3 movies, and I'm gonna throw some of the home movies of my kid and some music she likes on there.
.... and she says I usually put no thought into my gifts.
