Do I really need cmans for my warpath? He is mainly a swinger but also casts quite a bit. It is awfully expensive. At 20 trains, how much would be suggested? Is the main reason for training in Cman's for an empath because of EBP, cman skills, or AS bonus? Thanks

Protection from other CMs, and extra AS. You'd need to be like 40 before you could use a CM yourself.

CM's are important to all professions, same as dodge, unfortunatly, they make it near impossible as a pure to obtain them without sacrificing your first three kids, and removing all your own limbs as a single payment for 1 rank.

at level 38....can you rate how my empath is doing? Just converted from GS3, and was playing around with stats and skills...this seems to work. If anyone suggests some adjustments, that would help. I tried the spell aim thing, but my character is giant, so i'm playing to his strengths (the -dex and agi bonus is no fun) I swing a claidh and wear brig....i think i'm doing well for a "warpath"

You don't need all that SMC. Drop it down to about 24 ranks, or whatever it is that gives you maximum mana sharing capabilities.

You also seem to be using up extra TPs for more than 2x spells. Don't. Those points can be used for CMs.

Stop putting TPs into Arcane Symbols and Magic Item Use when they hit 40 ranks. They add up.

Get climbing and swimming up to 30.

How much are you bone shattering? If not much, you can drop the mental lore: Manipulation significantly.

Only need the Arcane/MIU to keep climbing if you're using a runestaff.

And damn that's a lot of FA. Particularly if you're swinging.

Why raise Arcane Symbols and MIU above 25 ranks anyway? They don't do anything beyond that unless you use a runestave.

I'm pretty sure they add to your roll when attempting to use them. Useful if you are wounded.

I like to think that I am able to boneshatter/swing, in case i have to fight an undead, or for some reason I can't swing, or signs run low, start melting, etc....still think I should stop 3x in FA and 1x manip? And the spells were so I could fog and be able to grab intensity and WoF as soon as I could...i think that is going to help a lot. So how much CM and MoC should i expect to be able to get? maybe .25? Its tough to fit it all in....also, should I keep going with armor, maybe up to shirt chain? or hauberk? hmm..let me know!

I'd go for 1x CM if I was a warpuff. 2x FA is fine.

My empath's in brig with 7% hindrance. I don't think I'd want to deal with anything higher than that.
