If it works out it will at least look better than the guy with the snap on face.

Nicholas Cage and John Travolta did this in like 1997.

The irony will begin when she succeeds at suicide.

Why would she go through all that just to commit suicide?

The allegation that she was trying to commit suicide at the time the dog attacked her has not been proven. It's a rumor, nothing more.

I totally just watched this on Nip/Tuck 2 weeks ago. Good stuff.

Almost a better plan for a Halloween costume then the fully functional Transformer suits.

I’ll bet the mafia has been waiting for this day with baited breath.

In a few years we’ll hear about blackmarket “face plants.” Unlucky tourists will wake-up in Bankok sans face (face lifts), victims of a lucrative face-trade. A president in America could serve as many terms as he had surrogate faces.

UH OH! I SMELL CONSPIRACY!? WILL OUR NEXT PRESIDENT BE BUSH WITH A NEW FACE!? Time, and Backlash, can only tell.

Now I wonder how much a face goes for ... I will probably get involved in the blackmarket face trade.

I wonder what the final product looked like though.

It's creepy, can you imagine someone who knew the "other person" running into the "new person". A face plastered onto another body...thats just not right.

Well, it's not quite like from that movie "Face off".

Your own skulls structure is what makes most of your faces appearance. That's why forensic reconstructionists can do some of the amazing recreations of what a victim would have looked like using only the skull.

I'd say this is more like an intermediate step until tissue regeneration is advanced enough to allow the use of the patients own tissue to provide the needed coverage.

Why haven't they practiced this on burn victims? I'm sure they would benefit from this far more than a mangled face, with apparently far less surgeries. That's the hope I'm shooting for.

That is probably the step they are going towards, lets face it this woman was missing the lower portion of her face so it was the perfect way to test this process?
