Unless you bought a ticket on one of your other accounts, you won't be getting one.

Didn't they disallow transfers of these tickets? You'd have to rent someone's account.

Edit: Sheesh you people are quick, what they said.

Just out of curiousity, how much are you paying to rent/buy an account with a ticket?

FinisWolf

Not that I would, but if it was my account, it would have to be over the 2K mark, NO way would I go lower for any reason what so ever.

If it was my account, I'd have to be paid the full amount I've paid for my premium service, plus about $1000 for each character on my account (...15 months, 9 characters...that's about $10k worth or so). Of course, I don't trust anyone but my husband with my account, so even if I was bribed with a million dollars, I wouldn't let anyone borrow my account for it's Foehn's ticket.

Good luck on finding someone to let you use their ticket!

Right...I thought that was obvious, but I think we'd be talking about disposable accounts, not main accounts with prime characters.

What're the odds someone signed up a spare PREMIUM disposable account to a 75 buck event?

Huh, you guys think it's odd to think that someone who has 2 accounts, one prime and one a locker account, would sign up both? To me a locker account is disposable. I don't think that's very odd.

People don't have locker accounts, they have support accounts. They would move characters around so that their prime chars can get every spell under the sun.

Well, Nilandia MAY be an exception to this, with all the stuff she says she has.

With a prime account, your locker characters are on that account as you get a ton more locker space, unlike a crappy standard account.

No way in hell would I start a second account just to have some char there to hold items, not at $15.00 a month. It's much easier to have a primie account locker char do that.

One thing you can always do is offer to buy the person's token. If they have more than one ticket, they can go on the Promise for you and then you pay them the money to cover the ticket (as a minimum) plus you pay them for the item that they win.

It would help if an item list was posted in this case so you could at least point out which things you'd want the person to go for.

Screw using my account. For a million dollars I'd let someone cut off a few of my toes.

This reminds me of debates I used to have witha friend where we presented crazy and outrageous situations to eachother and then asked if the other would "do that" for one 1 million dollars. If the answer was "no" then we'd up the anty, 5million? 10million? 50 million? It was sad to learn that everyone had their price, and evensadder to learn just what disgusting acts we'd do for cash (and brother, did they get disgusting).

Hehe. My second account is somewhat of a locker, somewhat of an independent entity. I have three characters on it that I play with regularity (IE, actually go hunt, RP, etc), but the majority are lockers.

I'll give you an idea of what just one character is holding. This is one of a few characters that I use to store clothing and stuff I need to keep on hand when I'd need it. I'd say around... 4 or 5 have the vast majority of my clothing collection. Mind you, he's somewhat worse than most, but I prefer to keep my locker characters carrying the items on FWI rather than stuffing them in a locker because this way I can reach them from any town instantly.

If you believe it, I actually have most of these things logged and catalogued on my spreadsheet!

Ummm, Nilandia, you look like that 500 item rule may bite your hiney with that character.

I think my point stands though. Odds of someone having an account just for a locker would be like .001%. Odds of someone buying a ticket for an account like that are even lower. Odds of someone wanting to unload Nilandia's character's on an account like that ... very good. Odds of Nilandia (or anyone) being willing to swap all those items off their locker account so someone can use it for a premie event ... nil to none.

So you think that 1 in 100000 accounts are used as lockers?

Someone here (Ardwen) has already posted that he has one. I hope you know 99,999 people that don't :)

Right, I am saying its extremely rare where it happens. Most folks also have on that second account chars they actually play too. Thus making it NOT a locker only account.

Also, even fewer would buy a Foehn's ticket for their locker account, rather then their main account.

I agree with the ticket bit, but I also have an account just to hold shit. While it may make financial sense to store all of Naessi's excess wardrobe shit on other characters or in other lockers, I've discovered that the easiest method is to store the bulk of it in her hometown locker and load a locker character on a basic account with the rest of it. I despise having to log in/log out/log in to swap shit out between characters. Having a locker-only account solves this.

I'm clueless as to why you think this idea is so outrageous. I, as well as many other people I know, have accounts that are strictly used to store stuff. Sure, it's more useful if you have a character on there that can spell you up or loresing to items, but there are many of us that have extra accounts for locker characters.

And I wasn't implying that someone would buy a ticket for their locker account and not their main account. I was saying that, given the opportunity, some folks would have bought a ticket for any and all accounts they own. Some of those accounts are probably locker accounts, some may or may not have less valuable utility characters on them. Those could be rented and/or sold. And if you really want to go the distance, a person could transfer any valuable characters off and then sell the account.

I gotchya Beef, I don't think I could justify another account for just a locker space, 25 items, and a character that can hold a measly 500 items.

I guess if I was a rich bastard, I could. But then, I also accomplish that because we do have 2 premie accounts, and 5 standard accounts. Belle has locker chars on my account, and I have them on hers. Of course she keeps hinting that I need to clean out her main chars lockers of MY stuff. I have every locker full, and we have 32 premie chars, plus the 5 standard accounts with 3 chars on each account, and those are full as well. THANK THE GAWDS for the PRS system, of course those are full too.

Oh, and just to clarify, I'm talking standard accounts. At least that's what most of the folks I know have, I (stupidly) have a premium account for it because I have so much crap.

Upgrading to premium for 1 month and buying a ticket ends up being a total of $100 for a Foehn's ticket.
