If any of the U.K residents would fancy meeting up with me in December, I'm flying in to visit my auntie(s) and cousin(s) on my birthday, December 5th. I haven't booked my flight yet, but I'm either going to be flying into Gatwick or Heathrow.

Most of my relatives live in Leicester, but if anyone would like to meet me, I'd be more than willing to take a brief detour. I can give you my mobile phone number if you're interested -- I use 'Meteor' here in Ireland, if that makes a difference.

If not, it's grand, like. I just wanted to make the offer available!

Tabor.

Too busy looking for a new job since I was fired, man.
Be nice to settle down to a pint of Guiness once I've done that though.
Another time.

Bah. I'd be more than willing to pay if anyone actually desires to meet me. I worked at a factory prior to departing to the Emerald Isle, so I'm loaded.

It is odd, though... the drinking habits over here. I met this ENTICING female just yesterday named Emily. She contacted me because she's going to travel to Indiana and attend Purdue University as an exchange student. Her counselor mentioned that I went there, and gave her my contact information. When we met up, we went to the student bar here on campus and we had a pint of Guiness... at 11:00 a.m.! I've never experienced that in the States before.

I don't know about the weather there, except what I heard from Chica, but it's feckin' cold over here. The winds are something fierce, as well. I've never experienced such cold weather combined with horrifying winds. It even snowed FAINTLY this morning! Hah. I love it.

Tabor.

Edited to add: I'd better clarify that I did not partake in the Guiness myself. I fear Rhett may call me out on that. I promised my mammy I would not drink intoxicating liquors -- infact, the only alcohol I've ever consumed, save for Communion Wine at church, was a glass of champagne!

Rejoice indeed! Now someone can actually see and attest to the existence of your voting card since you haven't managed to find a scanner in all this time.

Heh, have you ever played the game Disgaea? You remind me of Laharl (he was king of the underworld, so by all means, it's quite the compliment, like).

If he'd said he was going to a place in the States where many PC posters lived near, it would have been well funnier.
:sniffle:

What the! I know you've played at least Final Fantasy VII, and I know you've undoubtedly watched Advent Children -- and I KNOW you play Gemstone... so how does playing one more game make someone a 'complete geek?'

Riddle me this, chickpea.

Hmmm, lets see, FFIV was like the only game out for PS at one point over here. No I haven't seen Advent Children, and I "play" GS to make money. Additionally I don't lie about A) my nationality and B) my degree.

My God, my God, what will the country say?! Here I am, attempting to be nice by complimenting you, and you're as glib as ever!

Oh, I forgot you were voted the PC's most popular 'IN REAL LIFE CHARACTER!!!!!!!!' I bet there's still a rather lengthy line of participants waiting in orgasmic ecstasy to bear witness to your fine mannerisms, is there not?

I never said I was. But then I don't pretend to have friends, unlike you.

Where have I pretended to have friends?! I'm well aware a majority of people dislike me on these forums, but I don't ever recall claiming that I was best pals with anyone. I merely offered the fact that I would be in the vicinity if anyone wished to meet up.

Hmph, as much as I'd love to continue this intriguing discussion, I fear I need to get back to actual work. Thank you for the brief study break, kitty kat.

We're still on for the pub, though, right?
