I can't do another paper on wordpad and simulataneously retain my sanity.

Anyone know where I can cop a cheap DOWNLOADABLE version? 2001-2003ish, probably.

Thank ye, Lords and Ladies...

Sorry, Word 2003 is like 200MB and I upload so slowly that it would take hours to reach you.

I don't think I want anything that doesn't have an unused registry on my compy because I am paranoid and don't want Bill Gates paratrooping into my house with a taser :(

Does your school offer it as a Free DL for students? I know mine did.

WTF does that even mean?

It's 400 MB, btw, my mistake.

I'm almost positive that windows update scans your office registries?

My super technologically-smart Indian friend told me about how Microsoft force-uninstalled an in-use illegal copy of his version of Windows XP Pro, but not Office, I dunno.

I just don't want Bill Gates hanggliding into my house with a taser, seriously.

.

The best bet I know of, so far, that I would have as a student would be getting a student discount from Best Buy or whatever for MS-Office. Pretty much anyone can do that, or that's what I've heard.

Have you ever heard of a Corporate CD key?

Not really. I don't want Microsoft seeking revenge upon my baby for doing anything skeptically not-exactly-legal.

I have Wordpad opened, already. I am past the point of return :spaz:

Your insanity is non-justified when Bob wholeheartedly offered a version of Word that would have been far less likely to get a MS Operative breaking through your living room windows than the activity of trying to use Word Pad as a useful program.

Bob would probably send a keystroke recorder.

Yeah I totally would, since I have one and all*.

* I do have one. And it sends e-mails when the log hits a certain file size. I don't use it and it's locked safely away on a network hacking CD.

I would not send a malicious file to anyone I did not know IRL.
