I really fucked up my IE..

I'm not the most techie guy out there, but I did something to my Internet Explorer where I can only go two or maybe three links deep into a website and it will bomb out.

It started out this morning with Ebay when I couldn't post something I wanted to sell. I went to the Live Help chat and the Ebay guy told me to delete all my cookies and files under Tools / Internet Options. I'm not saying that deleting the cookies and files was the cause of my problem, but it definitely became worse after that. From that point onward..it just got downhill QUICK. Although I can access Ebay, I can't get onto the Sell section. That's just one example of one website. It’s pretty much a global problem.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Gotta say, first thing that came to mind was to clear our your history and temporary internet files from the internet options (which sounds like that's what you were already told)

Barring that, maybe throwing in your windows disc and repairing IE.

Run spybot/ad-aware... could be some sorta crappy program.
Clear all files.
Try and remember what you did, then reverse it.
Repair IE.
Call a tech.
Backup and reformat.

Well..whatever ad-aware got rid of..did the trick.

Bet you had a hijacker. Seriously.. download firefox. I haven't had a SINGLE problem with it.
