Anybody have a Sonicare toothbrush? Mind posting a personal review?

I have one. I wouldn't brush my teeth with anything else.

Just have to replace the brushes every so often.

My Dad swears by his. I should probably get one myself.

They rock, and the way it charges itself is way cool. Yes, cleanliness is imperative and the brushes require changing more frequently than a conventional toothbrush.

Just remember, 20 seconds per quadrant.

How often do the brushes need to be replaced, and how much are the replacements?

Sonicare says every 6 months.

My wife changes her out every 2 months. I replace mine at the same time because its easier.

Replacements are about 16 bucks per head.

I purchased one of these from Sharper Image a year or two ago.

I couldn't stand it at first. See, I'm one of those people who likes a nice hard toothbrush and who scrubs like she's trying to get the enamel off. It just makes my mouth feel cleaner. So I threw it under the sink and cursed expensive toothbrushes.

Then my dentist got onto me for well, scrubbing my enamel off, and I went back to the Sonicare. After I got used to the soft touch it has, I really love it. My teeth feel really clean and my gums are the pinkest and healthiest they've ever been.

My friend's dad is a DDS and he said they work really well. I like mine a lot. He also told me that you have to make sure not to brush for too long on them because they literally make divits in your teeth and they will become brittle. Other than that, they seem to work well for me.

I brush my teeth with a twig dipped in peppermint oil.

I brush my teeth, usually, with a severed baby arm. At work, I have a toothbrush.
