Saw it... loved it.
Not much like the book (stuff changed and left out), and dumbledore was worse.
Still good.

That's so sad. Is he still wearing that dumbass fucking beret like in the last movie, or did they at least give him his pointy wizard hat back?

Taking my girl tonight, if it opens here tonight. I don't read the books, but she has read all that have been released. Hell our house is a Harry Potter Shrine. At least Harry Potter is cool, I mena if it was like cabbage patch I would vomit or something, but my girl has good taste thank goodness.

Same here. She reads all the books and then we go to the movies.
For the third book I snuck out of the house just before midnight to get in line. Little did I know she called for me and I wasn't there. Plus the back door was unlocked, gate open, etc.
Needless to say I got a frantic call on my cell phone while in line at Borders to get her a copy.
The original Dumbledore pwnd. I'm taking my younger sister to see this one for her b-day. Can't wait.

This one's PG-13. I don't know if my daughter will be seeing it for awhile.

Yeah, I heard one of the reviewers talking about that fact. He said it wasn't bad, just talk to your kids before hand so they know it's just a movie - fantasy life.
Not seen the movie yet, I'm not sure if that helps. Perhaps one of the ones who's viewed it can shed some light on the -13ness of it.

The book's themes would be too strong, probably, but if they toned it down enough, she'll be ok. I"ll see it first, then if it's ok we'll go a 2nd time.

"I'm sorry sweety, I saw the movie and it's a bit too graphic for you"
"Where am I going? I'm off to see it again. Have fun with the babysitter!"

Great flick, but I could see how it could scare the shit out of a younger kid. It earned its PG-13 rating.
A guy behind me kept talking about how hot he thought Hermione was, and it's pretty creepy. She's 14 in the movie, and she looks it. Yech.

I enjoyed the movie. Definitely the best in the series. The first half of the movie was like reading the book in that Fast Forward mode where it skips 30 frames at a time. Come the first task, however, it really slowed down and did a fantastic job.

I'm going to try to make my bf to take me tonight, lmao. He's too "cool" to go see Harry Potter. The previews look good, I  Harry Potter movies, and I don't care what anyone else thinks!

Some people are just gross. But, it was hilarious when they had Lindsey Lohan playing Hermione on SNL.

Took the kids today after school -
I, the adult, actually loved it.
The 11 year old loved it - he's read all the books and knows them by heart.
The 9 year old was just mesmerized - he couldn't care less about the story, he just thinks its great eye/mind candy.
The 6 year old who only went because she's seen the others and I've read the books to the kids - she thought it was "super cool" but she cuddled up a bit during some of the darker moments.
I think most kids would be fine during the movie as long as they have a good understanding of the difference between fantasy and reality.
Just my two cents worth..
