After eating a meal there, I had explosive diarrhea/the worst stomachache ever/vomiting a couple of hours later.

I hate that place now.

Haven't seen one of them in many many years.

There's a lot of Jack in teh Box's in the Texas area, didnt see many in Colorado or New Mexico... guess they are picky about their market places.

Jack in the Crack's are everywhere I look here in Texas I have never eaten at one though. Isn't that the place that killed/made alot of people sick years ago?

I wish I could somehow describe the image I have of this.

Dude, these guys are notorious for "teh salmo-burgers."

I don't even know how their franchise is still in existence.

Seriously, I don't.

I like the 'variety' of burgers you can get from JBox rather than the cookie cutter burger you normally find if you're in a hurry... but I'm just not a huge burger eater unless its from a gourmet burger place like Beck's Prime or something unique.
And yes, JBox super tacos are the BOMB.

If I had to rate em on burgers...

JBox
Wendys
Whataburger
BKing
DQ
McD's

Throw Carls Jr. in there somewhere above McD's.

The only DQ that served food around here closed years ago also, but the food there was way better than all the other fast food places before it closed.

Sounds like it, given the explosive outcome.

I only recently tried Jack in the Box, as it's a few blocks from my place now. I don't like their burgers. Too messy, I think it's the overload of mustard they put on them, or something.

Hope you get better. I got food poisoning this past weekend, and it still hasn't passed my system yet. Talk about stomach cramps that almost make you pass out from the pain.

Top East Coast Fast Food...

BK Lounge. Mainly for breakfast, but I prefer the burgers with them flame broiled tastes. I even prefer the fries over McDs!

Taco Hell. Cant beat a $1.29 double decker.

KFC? Nah, I’d rather hit the Super Panda for wings and fries. Not only are they cheaper... they serve more and are meatier.

Artha

I'd rate it as:

Wendy's
Taco Bell (Very close second)
BK
McD's
KFC

Hardee's and Arby's have better food but they're expensive.

Don't any of you guys have Sonic or In N Out?

Sonic has the grossest burgers of anywhere. They're wet and gooey and bleh.

Jack in the Box is all over St. Louis.

Personally my favorite fast food is Lion's Choice, but that only exists in St. Louis. They have shredded roast beef sandwiches. Yummy.

Everywhere else is icky.

Yeah, I ate the fattiest burger of them all, the bacon ultimate cheeseburger. The stomachache was the worst part..I was pulling my own hair and my eyes got moist from the pain.

I don't eat burgers at Sonic, so I guess I shouldn't have brought them up. I like their lemon-berry slushes or the cherry limeade, yum.

7 month count down til I can eat at those places again... all we have is BK and the Italian MD's. Don't eat fast food all that often, but I would love some choices when the urge hits me!

We have Sonic... supposedly. I’ve never actually seen one. I know of only one Hardee’s and its in the Greyhound station. Yikes.

We do have Checkers. Decent enough chili dogs.

Rally's fries are awesome.

No one has mentioned Arby's. Good roast beef.

Call their customer service line. Give them as much detail as possible. You might not be the only one who got sick.

As a side note, most food poisoning takes between 8 and 24 hours to set in, so it is possible it is something you ate that morning or even the night before.

Jorddyn, sits next to the claims person at a food manufacturer :)

Ooo, Sonic rawks. I love their drinks too! Try a orange, cherry, vanilla, lime, cream sprite next time you go. The person inside will want to pull their hair out when you order it, but it's SOOO yummy. Tastes like a orange dreamsicle.

I was always told food poisoning affects you 4 hours after you eat.
I rarely eat red meat....but when in the mood for a good burger, it's Burger Street or Braums fer me!

I don't like Sonic burgers much, but Braums are even worse, salty as hell. Whataburger has great burgers, and their chicken is excellent, too. I like the eggrolls at Jack in the Box, of all things. I think Wendy's and BK have the best tasting burgers, aside from Backyard Burger... the Black and Blue is so tasty!

Now there is something we can thank the brits for. Big cholesterol loaded breakfasts. I find the fried bread an incredibly nice addition that we in the states have overlooked. Basically its just a deep fried slice of english white bread. Even I could not stomach it so you have me beat. Though you’ve got great white bread now that I think about it.

The big breakfast. I salute thee.

Never seen a Sonic around here, but from the sound of it that limeaide would probably make a great margarita.

Last I knew, all the Jack in teh boxes went out because of a huge outbreak in food poisoning around here (Upper East Coast). Probably been a good 10 years since I've seen one.

Meh... it's a little too sweet. It's limeade, grenadine and 7up or sprite. In college when we were underage, we used to go get the huge 44 oz ones, pour out half of it, and replace with Parrot Bay. Good times.

happened to me last week. I spent two hours throwing up in one toilet and pissing out of my ass in the other.

I'll never eat taco hell again.

I don't think I have a particularly cast-iron stomach, but I've never had a problem after eating at Taco Bell, and I've easily had a hundred meals there in multiple locations. What do you guys order? I only get the crunchy tacos.

It's the lazy ignorant people that tend to work at taco bell.. dirty work habits ie not washing properly etc. I personally have gotten very ill from there and I think it is their crappy meat.

Since I've always substituted beans for beef in whichever product and never gotten sick.

How does that stereotype apply more to Taco Bell than, say, McDonald's?

Well, I don't trust the beef at Taco Bell. I had a couple of CHICKEN chalupas and a chicken grilled stuft burrito.

I've been eatting at Taco Bell for many many years on a semi-regular basis and I've never gotten sick from it and, then again, I have also been able to eat barely-cooked pork and not get sick. I just think it was 'my time'. :) I don't have anything against Taco Bell for giving me the shits.

It doesn't it applies to all fast food workers or it wouldn't be a stereotype.

However I still believe it's their MEAT.
