eh yeah, i took for my exemple 2 family name, i never heard anyone called brown as their first name
so yeah, popular?
I hope not, here they even had to put a law to stop that at 2 family names (you got 2, your husband got 2, so your child would had a combinaison of the 4.)
ElvenRangeress
10-10-2003, 05:38 PM
Noooo we don't do that here ;oP But sometimes they have what we called middle names like ...

Lady Daina: sometimes here we try too much to be different.
It's simply a new "family name"
Let's say i'm named Donald and my mother's family name is White and my dad is Black
They can add me a middle name (let's say Éric)
Well, here's the combinaison allowed by our damn law
Donald Éric Black (normal)
Donald Éric White (happens)
Donald Éric White-Black or Black-white (dash is if you want)
So i guess we're the only lucky to have that

Blaaaaaah.
Yeah in Manhattan alone there's at least 1 other Kevin Ronan... and get this, he's also a musician. So I was getting his calls periodicly to do a show downtown with his band, while he would occasionally get my boss that barely spoke english to call him to come in early for work. I met the guy once too. He was alright. He was vegan, and I'm not sure if he was straight or gay... All around he was a little weird, but nice guy. He was a regular at all the 80's clubs in town.
