On occasion I have heard him sound witty and rather intelligent on OOC. He's not stupid by any stretch, but he does seem to act out badly when he needs attention. He appears much younger than I believe he actually is.

The thing about him is that he will cry to folks about you if you respond to his outbursts. I am sure that he'll cry to the mods here about this thread, I'm sure he assists and complains about characters in game, I bet he complained to Jamus about folks on OOC and I know that he even complained to the dude who set up the free IRC for EG about a few folks. I've had IG issues with him before but I've met him IRL, and he wasn't that bad. He was actually nice and we had fun hanging out that night. As for the other things I'm reading about... I've never had any of those experiences where he wanted to die or some such so I can't say one way or another.

But for the record JOSH, the guy who I met, was pretty cool.

But it's not (necessarily, but really.. all cases) apathy at all. The opposite of love can not be both hate and apathy.

You're comparing two mutually exclusive scenarios. The emotional spectrum's center is apathy. On one side is positive emotion, and the other is negative emotion. The opposite of strong positive is strong negative. Something being empty or full can only be a positive thing. There's either 0, or any number greater than 0. The center is half of the maximum. Empty and full are not opposite in that one has a lot of something and the other has none. Full is an equal distance from the center of the fullness spectrum as empty. 1/4 full is 3/4 empty, and 1/4 empty is 3/4 empty: these are opposites.

Somehow I missed your post. Yea, I am pretty offhanded when it comes to people thirsting for atttention with suicide threats. I have been told by a few counselors that when you can see the person isn't for real (evidenced by this thread in my eyes) just tell them to go ahead, turn, and walk away.

When its someone I don't know, well, lets just say my answers gain a little momentum.
