Discuss week 10 of the NFL season.
PC League : I hate you all. Holmes is out for the season. What else can go wrong?

Priest Holmes retires manana is my gamble. After reading about his injury..honestly he would be an idiot to ever step on the field again.

For the 2nd time Stunseed.. YOU SHOULD HAVE PICKED UP LARRY JOHNSON IN THE DRAFT LIKE I DID.
Now I have L. Johnson and E. James. Add that to S. Moss, T. Holt and C. Palmer and you have a superbowl team.
Currently 6-3 and leading the division as well as point total. I don't see me losing another game this season. That's around $900 for me in January. Booya.

I joined Fantasy F-ball for the first time this year, because it was free ;). Any chance you can fill me in how the leagues with cash go? For instance, how much you put in, how the money is split, yada yada. Would be appreciated.

Your league rules favored someone who did nothing all day but review all the waiver wire movements, look up shit on nfl.com and jerk off to any key injuries. It doesn't surprise me that you did well in that type of league, considering you do nothing else all day, every day but play on your computer.
If anyone would like to take a look at the DaShore Football league.. I can see if I can grant you access to it. It's a private league on cbs.sportsline.com that has been going on for 7 years now.

In one of the leagues I am in, each of the 12 owners pays 130 POINTS at the beginning of the season. 100 POINTS for the year end prize money, about 11 POINTS for the site fees and the remaining sits in their 'bank'. Each transaction costs 3 POINTS.. if you trade or if you add/drop. This prevents people from changing their entire team over and over again and makes the draft more meaningful. We also limit the number of positions you can have on your team.
At the end of the 14 weeks, the winner of each division (2) and then the next 2 highest point earners go to the playoffs. At the end of week 16, the payoffs are as follows:
Winner: 600 POINTS
2nd: 300 POINTS
3rd: 200 POINTS
4th: 100 POINTS
At the end of week 17, all of the fees that were accumulated over the season is awarded to the highest point earner for the year. This pot in our league usually is between 250 - 350 POINTS.

If fantasy football was my entire focus for 5 months like it is yours, I would take you up on the offer. I enjoy the league I am in now.. we're all people with good jobs and families.. so it's not all about who heard what news at one second.. we actually have a shot of getting a player when we get home at night.

Uhm well maybe if you didn't spend your entire day in a chat room you could make some waiver wire pickups instead.

I can get on the chatrooms at work.. I can't get on cbs.sportsline.com due to websense.
Go chase a wheelchair.
Hm..
Got a situation in one of my other leagues.
Should I start Jacksonville's D against Baltimore or Dallas' D against Philly?

Looks like you should have started Jax. They tore Kyle Boller a new asshole, then had liberties with it.

I should have picked up Greg Jones.

what
the
fuck...
I can't believe that once again, someone blows their entire season high wad when they play me. I score 101 points.. a good score in our league.. and someone once again beats me.
Jacksonville D killed me.
Portis killed me.
Vick killed me.
Santana Moss didn't produce
Alge Crumpler didn't produce
Bucs D didn't produce
Jake Plummer didn't produce enough.
James and Johnson both rushed well.. but only 1 TD between them sucked for me hard.

< Jake Plummer didn't produce enough. >
I sat Brees on his bye week. I prolly got negative points with Trent Green of KC. Portis and Staley did alright, but combined only one TD. I sense a huge loss in my future.
