Besides getting flares added by the auto-merchant-alchemist dude on two longswords, I haven't gotten anything done yet. Probably could have had the chance if I had been ready, but don't really *need* anything altered currently.

As far as prime goes, nothing. The only time that I have set foot into Ebon's was to enter a few raffles. The thought of sitting in a room with 200 other people makes me want to punch myself in the face. In Plat on the other hand . . .

-Had a ring altered
-Had some pants altered
-Had a flask altered
-Had a 4x flaring longsword upped to 5x
-Had my armor lightened
-Had a satchel altered
-Had a feature alteration

. . . and now I have 12k in the bank, so I think I am done, heh.

Well I brought both of my accounts in and between the two, I've had..

a skirt altered
a blouse altered
a jacket altered
a handbag altered
boots altered
a dagger scripted and altered along with a sheath

I'm attempting to have an amulet holder done now so we'll see.

Edited to add that I also got some unlocked scripted dancing scarves.

I won a bow from the raffle, found a magical instrument, got third place in the bad joke contest, and that's it. No alters, though I've got three I'd like. I'd really like to get my bow altered, as it's elven and neither of my archers are, but I really can't complain. Someone was really ticked that my empath won the archers' only raffle, but she IS an archer.

I was with a friend yesterday while one of the GMs was debugging the scripted katars. My friend and another guy both got their katars fully unlocked for helping out. I thought that was awesome of the GM.

I haven't really bothered too much with merchants. Been too busy. I did manage to get a skull ring from Togrun and a forging apron altered though. Too bad I don't forge. :lol:

Hmmm lets see

So far I've spent about 1.5 hours in Ebons since Monday night. I missed the whole weekend and will probably miss all of the other good stuff.

I bought some cool breastplate armor.

No alterations since I absolutely stink at finding them :loser: :violin:

All in all I'm feeling pretty good about it. :cry:

I need to just latch onto a successful event person and let them drag me around. Any takers?

A couple of 1x polearms and a -1x polearm while digging. (I can't remember if there's a use for a -1x weapon.)

Big zilch for me. I've bought the hidden sheaths that Ent really wanted, just need to pick up one more item I'm gonna have to find a map for to find it, then I think I'm done.

I was only in for the first two days (I'm on a gay buisness trip now), but I got:

2 enhancers charged.
4 general alterations.
1 lightening service.
1 spike flares added to gear.
Some other stuff I think.

In Plat I was out friday night when it opened, so I didn't get any time in there. Saturday I spent about 3 hours in the festival, the same goes for sunday. During the week I probably spent about 1-2 hours a night in game, so I was either hunting or if a merchant announced himself I was in Ebon's.

Man I was picked by infinity tonight, don't even know what time. but I fell asleep on my keyboard. I was exhausted from work and the hours these merchant show up and amount of time you have to wait in line up is not very considerate for the working class. its like 6:00 am and I have work at 9:00 am :(

Shalla, you need people you can manipulate into taking over your character when you're about to die at your keyboard.
I find promises of cookies or British breakfast cereals through the post is enough to secure their willingness to help.

My friends who know nothing about GS would think I was nuts if they knew the dedication and time I commit to a text game.
I even had to speak quietly with a WoW friend at work, becouse we we're a bit scared we'd be umm . . misunderstood.
Anyhow, festivals and merchants are all about staying up all night.
It's half the fun.

Stole, two gowns, a longcoat, three feature alters, a case, a minor mechanical quiver, armor alter, a skirt, a satchel.

Not much for an event of any magnitude, in my experience, but I'm pleased. Of course, it would have helped if my connection weren't insanely burpy over most of the week, but we do what we can.

I couldn't even bring myself to look through the shops, nevermind wait for merchants. I just wasn't prepared or interested enough.

For the wavedancer I'm going to take holiday from work, turn off all my phones and sit at a desk made entirely of snack treats. :)

EDITED to say, I can't even begin to tell you how many millions I spent on raffles. Running 7 to 11 accounts throughout the fest can really get expensive at raffle time. And what did I learn? No matter how many tickets I bought, I STILL didn't win a damn thing! LOL

...a little under a week later....

Flares for two Thousand Cuts longswords, both got unlocked, cloak got scripted by Ghule, got my Aelotoi's wings alterd (woot!), and now I'm just waiting to see if I can catch Vaeregost to alter a bow I brought from his store.

FINALLY got my armor done by Amki. She did some work today for those with 0 or 1 thing done all week, and I managed to get there in time for a change.

It had been altered by the previous owner, and the show was SO not fitting for my character, so I changed it.

Some fitted obsidian black brigandine

Designed with subtle elegance, this armor is stained to the deepest of blacks, and its straps and buckles discreetly hidden. Each component blends seamlessly, one into the next, creating a smooth, fitted line along the entire body. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
