LONDON: Hip hop star Sean 'P Diddy' Combs has expressed his desire to play the suave British spy James Bond.

According to the Sun, the rapper has also zeroed in on "Tomb Raider" star Angelina Jolie as the perfect Bond girl for him.

"We would make a hot, sexy couple," the singer was quoted as saying.

The sad part is that if he gets turned down for the role (which I'd say is 99.99999999% likely unless it turns into an after school special hip-hop James Bond on the Disney channel where Mr. Bond thwarts the plans of evil fashion designers teaming up with Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen to take over the mall and turn it into another Wal-Mart), he's gonna raise a big stink about it and accuse the film company of being racist, despite the fact that James Bond has been WHITE for his entire secret agent career.

If he's given the role of Bond, this country will have sunk to a new low of political correctness, which is already way the fuck out of hand as it is.

It's like if Jim Carrey wanted to play the role of Ray Charles...

I actually agree with Methais' initial point. James Bond is a well established character and has always been white. Just like Shaft is a well established character who has always been black. Puffy playing Bond is like Matthew McConaughey playing Shaft. Of course McConaughey would make a hotter *anything* than Diddy but that's another story.
