While not quite the graphical marvel of WoW, this is a fun brain-teasing game/puzzle.

It starts with a grid, like the one below.

You need to use all the numbers (1-9) only to make horizontal and vertical rows, and also fill up eachquadrant. You cannot have the same number twice in any row, column, or quadrant.

You're given numbers to begin with (easier ones like the one above will have more numbers to start you off) and you work through process of elimination and whatever else is up your sleeve to solve it.

From what I've heard there's sites that have these puzzles online frequently. Can't really look into it at work because of the firewall.

I've grown bored with them and of work so I created a program to solve them for me. At least that entertained me for a while.

I see people with these all the time on the Metro... I think it is like warcrack for them!

I haven't tried it yet since I already have an unhealthy selection of addicitons to chose from. :)

My sister-in-law is a teacher and she was given a book of these by another teacher.

It had easy, medium & hard. The easy ones are rediculously easy. Medium ones are alright. I haven't finished a hard one yet. It involved alot of pencil erasing for screwups.
