Armor training? Need some help!

I need a little help. I'm not entirely sure what my level 21 warrior should be wearing for armor at the moment, and likewise if I want to have long-term armor altered, what should it be? Plate? When can I wear the plate?

Torso chain, though you could probably get away with hauberk or breastplate. Your long term goals as a warrior should be to get into full plate.

How many armor ranks do I need for breastplate and full plate?

80 for metal breastplate, 140 for full plate.

I'm not getting into full plate until level 46? Oy.
