Well, the expansion news kinda killed my buddy's and also my own desire to play WoW ever again so we're selling our accounts. Even though he's the reason I restarted on BL, and now he's quitting, I figure I'll help him sell his account while I sell mine.

His account has:

Level 60 shaman with epics, exalted in AV, almost revered in AB, rank 9.

Level 60 hunter with rank 7 gear, best pet in game.

Level 60 druid.

Level 47 warlock.

Level 25+ rogue, mage, priest, and warrior.

They are all male, and all on BL server, he is the original owner so he'll send you all the stuff you need to take it over.

What happened to your dunemaul characters?

I quit Dunemaul months ago to play horde on Bleeding Hollow. Then my buddy convinced me to restart on BL where he plays, so I sold my account and started anew. Wish I had realized that alliance was predominantly 12 year old kids who want to stare at a naked night elves ass.

Hmm, for my account, $80 or so. For the account with the 3 60s+, I'd wager $500 or so but I'll ask him tonight.

There is no transfer fee. Just be sure to get the login information, the CD key information (preferably obtain the original CD's with their key), and be sure to change password, account email, etc. It's been awhile since I opened my account, so I can't recall if there is a secret question you might need the answer to, as well, but I assume there is.

I sorta feel the same way about the expansion. I think it's gonna screw things up bigtime. I'd feel bad working on my priest for so long to get him somewhere only to have to start over again. Those levels from 60-70 are gonna take months each, I bet.

Has anyone found an FAQ on the expansion that has answers to stuff like what's gonna happen to MC/BWL/ZG/etc? Are they going to impose a cap on the age to allow entrance? or increase the toughness?

They really haven't released that kind of info yet to my knowledge but I would bet they won't even touch them. Sure, level 70's could go in and clean up on purple items but they'll be lower level purples and won't be nearly as good as the newer stuff. It would be like going into Uldaman at 60, sure you can clear the place easily, but why would you want to?

Well all I can say is that I hope I have all the existing faction reps ground out by the time the expansion is released. I'm sure they'll have whole new sets to bore yourself shitless grinding out, heh.

It's not so much that we can't hold out, as that we don't WANT to hold out- playing a game should be fun. My primary reason for quitting is Blood Elves coming to horde. His primary reason for quitting is that he's already done 0-60 3 times, and the expansion offers him nothing but a chance to spend another 3 months getting to where he's already at now- the level cap with epics.

With that said, his account is a great chance for anyone who wants to come in on the cusp of the expansion release, catch up to where their friends are at, and have a chance to do 60-70 without being horribly behind everyone and experiencing gank city. Fangtooth has said that open server transfers are coming VERY soon now, so now's a good time to buy.
