Any hint on how to get a "cheap" working copy of the latest version without getting in trouble? <wink><wink><nudge><nudge>

Do what I do...
Go to Best Buy and claim you are a teacher (or in your case maybe a student) and purchase the student edition.
It's a lot cheaper for the same program.

LMAO. You don't have to be either to purchase that edition.
It's $149 for Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook, and it comes with 3 licenses (meaning you can put it on 3 computers)

Yep, which is why I'm going to get it myself and split the cost with my one sister and and my brother so it costs like 40 bucks a pop.
Thats acceptable in my mind for a good bit of software that will last me for years.

Nuh uh.
I've used Open Office and it's not bad at all, but it's not MS Office.
