So I was inspired to do this trivia by a few. And now the rules.
If you decide to play, you must always provide questions. The first person to answer a question correctly asks a trivia question. If you are drawing a blank, you may pass it back to the person who you answered the question correctly from.
If you decide to pass, you may not answer the next question(this being for everyone to have a chance to join in on the fun, and not just one person asking questions).
Games MUST be older than 2 years at the least. Console platforms that are unaccepted are: PS2, Xbox, GameCube and any MMO currently out there for any platform. SO anything before the time of those consoles can be asked as a trivia question.
Ok, there's the rules as of now, try not to make em search engine friendly so our Google Whores don't have it easy. I'll start...

Ok, older game.
Two main char's, objective to save one of their girlfriends. Weapons involved..Brass knuckles, a stick, a chain, a rock, a garbage can, an empty crate, and other people.

Adventures of Willy Beamish. :)
Side scrolling fighting game for the neo-geo and sega. Most of it was set in a gothic/horror setting.
Edit to add : It was also on the Turbographx 16, now that I think about it. Also, for another hint the PC's main purpose was to save his Girlfriend, and you had to absorb powers from the stuff you killed.

I used to think I was a HUGE video game player when I was a kid.
After reading this, I feel as though I've never picked up a controller. :(
BUT....what Nintendo game had your player use bubbles as your main weapon? I can promise this wasn't a popular game, but a friend and I played it ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

I played alot of games when I was younger, and it was because my dad did. He bought new games every week, I didn't play too many games out of RPGs though.
We would go to the arcade together as well, was fun. You can't have that kinda fun anymore. Games now you gotta move around on a snowboard or a horse or have a plastic gun and shoot shit...
But...Jesae...I have no idea what game you speak of...

Kid Icarus was by far one of my favorite games growing up...I'd play it over and over...

This code worked for Contra and Life Force not sure if there were others. But I distinctly recall entering that code for Life Force. Even if it was ten minutes ago.

This game's final battle involved killing Death (again). Sega Genesis/Megadrive.

Here's one, how do you get into(aka where are they) the seventh and eighth dungeons on zelda after you beat ganon the first time and play with the altered areas.... no i don't have the answer i just wanna know still.

Oh I just beat this one the gamecube's collection disc.
And let me tell you, the second time through is so fucking hard, i wanna cry. I think I am. Anyways, hopefully you can understand my gibberish here...
Shit I don't remember 7, but 8 was the one that was fucking insanely hard to find.
From the main area where ya start it's like n e n n n n w n e e and then bomb the wall. You can see the wall that's bombable like all the others if ya get close to the screen. and yes, i had to fire up the game to do it. Fuck, I don't remeber where 7 is... Let me think....
Bottem area towards the right, gotta burn a tree, fuck me, I have no clue though how to find what tree. it's a solo tree though...

Ah, found it after playing for a bit.
from start.
e n e e e e burn tree that create a wall and make it so ya can't go east anymore
