I read the book, know the feeling all too well. I cried. A lot.
As far as movies go...Hm, I don't remember the last time I went to the theater to see a movie...Wait, yes I do. I took my kids to see...Sky High.
At home...Watched Raise Your Voice with my kids and some of my nieces and nephews this morning. I cried. I'm such a sap.

Dude, Raise Your Voice pissed me off. I loved A Cinderella Story and The Lizzie McGuire Movie (yes, I'm aware this is retarded). But I didn't like RYV because I'm from Flagstaff it's not half as retarded as they made it out to be. Fuckers.
Also, how was Flight Plan? I've heard mixed reviews.

And how was alexander? Was gonna pick it up last night... I won't even lie... it was disappointing. I'm glad as hell I opted not to see it on the big screen like I'd originally planned. If you're going to rent the movie then you've saved yourself unnecessary spending of extra money. It did highlight on his homoerotic liasons so be warned about that. It wasn't as accurate as it should have been. It was 3 hours of a whole lot to do about nothing, in my opinon.

I thought it was okay. I really like Jodie Foster so that's always a plus. The movie itself could have been better, but could have been a hell of a lot worse too. I'd say it's worth a matinee price or rental.
