Went to the air show at Ellington Air Force Base today, took my almost 3 year old son with me. He had a blast as did I since this was the first time to see one for the both of us. I filled up a full roll with the 35mm and then started snapping shots with my camera phone.
By far the best manuevers were the low alpha pass by the F-18 Hornet and the vertical stop/landing/takeoff from the Harrier. The Canada Snowbirds were also there (group shot below). I got 35mm shots of the F-18 and camera phone shots of the Harrier but the Harrier shots were a little blured and too distant. :(
