Knee surgery... doesn't sound particularly fun.
Hopefully you'll be jogging again in no time.

Good luck, Soulpie. While no surgery is going to be shits and giggles, I'm sure your knee will be much better after the repair. Hang in there, hon. :)

Actually it was from basketball, a real man's sport. Everything went through fine. Of course the doctor always said I was wrong when I said I thought there was meniscus damage. Sure enough, the surgery took an extra hour because my medial meniscus was torn and had to be repaired, and my lateral meniscus was too far gone, so he just shaved it down.

Pussy.. I was back to work the next day. My damage was probably not as bad as yours since mine was scoped.. but then again, I got mine from Football.. a sport where there's actually contact.. not just caused by tripping over 1st base.

There's a slight miniscule difference from having your knee "scoped" and having a chunk of your patellar tendon, bone, and screws put in place of a frayed and completely torn ligament, bitch.

Quick update on my crying for ParkBandit again.
3 weeks post-op tomorrow. I've already got knee flexion past 100 degrees, and was able to get full revolutions on a stationary bike after just 3 rehab sessions.

What a pussy.
EDITED to say: Real men don't need surgeries except on broken arms.
