Looking for a free site with no viruses that can get me an SNES emulator and a GBA emulator with the games Final Fantasy III and Tactics Ogre.

If you know one, let me know or if you have one and are willing to share let me know as well. A million thank yous!

Tho I don't know how updated their emulators are anymore. Will have to locate the roms site I use to frequent.

Vimm's Lair is a good place too.

Vimm's Lair has terrible download speeds. I recommend romnation.net, but watch out for t3h pron.

For this particular case, I may know a guy whose cousin saw an emulator and an FF3 rom fall off the back of a truck that... was carrying the Internet around. Long story short, IM me later, Arkans.

Are controllers needed to play emulator games?

keyboard. Control pads are optional.

A keyboard will generally suffice for SNES, NES, or GB games. Just be aware that some keyboards get a little upset if you try to hit like 4-5 keys at once, which can happen in some SNES games.

I doubt very much that a keyboard can take the place of the N64 generation of systems and up, though of those systems I've only played the N64.

Some games when run from an emulator, such as FF6 need a pad.

Having played and thoroughly beaten FF6 twice from a computer keyboard, I disagree.

RPGs generally don't need a pad at all.

High reflex games might unless you use SAVE STATE all the time.

There is a part when you're on board a raft and to beat a baddy you need to do a combo that requires a left and right shift (basically placing your thumb on the top of the pad's movement thing then moving it around to the left or the right all the way to the bottom, similar to how you'd do the fireball in SF2).

I think you can find a penis emulator in your man purse. May require batteries. Not sure if this helps but always willing to try.

If you're talking about one of Sabin's blitzes, all of them are reproducible from a keyboard. It sounds like Fire Dance, but I don't remember needing Fire Dance to beat the octopus guy any of the 40,000 times you face him.

The Blitz is fucking hard as hell to do with the keyboard, expecially a laptop, but very doable.

PS: That's just umm.. weird, Xyelin

I used to use cherryroms.
