Cadiva/Starlaz

Does anyone know these two?

Obviously they are one in the same... since they make NO ATTEMPT to be discreet at MA'ing on the dais.

Cadiva will mana leech Starlaz without any verbal recognition.

Cadiva will gate back to the dais, then hand off coins to Starlaz, instead of taking them to the bank, yet with no verbal or physical interaction (I personally like this one, so it doesnt necessarily have to be fixed.... :whistle: )

Starlaz will spellup Cadiva with blues, with no verbal interaction.

Starlaz will just camp on the dais and heal when Cadiva is resting, but remain catatonic when Cadiva is hunting. And Starlaz's healing etiquitte is one where she heals without acknowledging the person requesting and then never acknowledging the grattitude of those she healed afterwards.

At least camp Starlaz at a table, where the MA'ing can be a little more discreet. This reminds me of the Callinar/Starkly dynamic duo that used to pollute the dais a while back.

I rest at the inn, Illistim is horrible. I am quite disgusted with how it is now. Back when I was in the Black Forest, we were lucky to even have 2 people on the dias, Chica was one of them generally...

Its very disappointing... but profitable at the same time as long as Cadiva is lazy enough to keep depositing her OTF coins with Starlaz...

Its not that difficult to play/use 2 characters in this game and yet be discreet. Too bad this has escaped these two.

Its highly annoying to heal on the dais with Starlaz parked there. You never know if she's going to heal anyone or sit there robotically.

I agree, she could just as easily park Starlaz at a table and do their thing there. Some people just don't bother to think about others and they don't give a damn about rping even in the slightest.

There are some great scripts for getting around that town from basically any point to any point.

To be fair, doing something 'without verbal recognition' doesn't mean it's the same person. I used to run my empath AFK in TSC with a script to send X amount of mana to Tayre when he whispered and also to clean him up when he whispered. I'm certainly not Tayre.

As of last night, Starlaz's pockets are being lightened.

Combine all the activities mentioned above with logging on and off at the same time and the odds are its the same person.

And thanks to this thread, others now are marking this target for activity as I have. I'm now waiting to see if we get a resonse/reaction from the subject of this thread in game, and if so - what the reaction is.

Fun times indeed.

I've seen em do what you are talking about. Was the same with Atreau, Philosilan etc. And Callinar and Starkly as you mentioned.

I don't spend much time on the dais with either of my EN characters because Dessedemona is usually there, I can't stand that fucking idiot.

I remember cadiva from years ago she was the secondary character of a dwarf female rogue. Her name is escaping me at the moment, but she was mid fifties early 60ish and somehow got rerolled and she blamed iot on her IG girlfriend. She went around bad mouthing the other person talking about how she rerolled her/put her in the character manager. At any rate she ended up assisting they wqouldnt restore her to her trains so she just kind of poofed away after awhile.

I wonder if this is still her or if she sold Cadiva.

Second could be husband and wife playing from the same room, I know my wife and I did that when we played Everquest (had 3 of us in a room when I visited my brother). No real reason to talk in game in that situation.

If they are the same person, why the big deal? I know it would help me immensely if I had a partner, but I tend to play around the 2 am America time during the weekday. My rogue was down over 20 constitution at one point from lack of clerics and empaths for rescues (even with symbol of need).

Do they really disrupt your gameplay that much by being self-sufficient. Some people don't play primarily for the roleplay, some prefer the hunting and levelling aspect. All in what you like.

To be brief, yes. She makes NO attempt to try to hide the fact she's the same person. How fucking hard is it to plant your other character in an out of the way place?

Actually, I asked Cadiva if she happened to know what kind of spell cloak of shadows was, defensive or what not because I wasn't sure. She responded by saying it was a sorcerer's spell but that she was sorry she didn't know more as she was kinda new. I've never had any interaction with her before I started hunting in Illistim, so I don't know her background, but seems like the player bought an account? I didn't know what the leeching was all about when I first came to the Dais; Seeing it, I initially thought Starlaz was a slave. They are the same player, I am certain. It could be the player just doesn't realize she is causing a problem if she's new to GS.

What TRL said is true. Generally you can't hang out on the dais anymore, and that really stinks, but it happens to every town in GS. A long time ago, when Teras was built, ICE people cried about how the AOLer's were invading 'their' Island.

Next town should have a rotational puzzle or something to get in maybe if we wanted to create an elitist town. I don't know. All I know is that it happens again and again in a different way, and this is nothing new.

Yep Cadiva does all that crap then she turns around, and spells up most of you goofs. Tab drinkers go back to the landing, and blow up your boxes there. Starlaz heals mostly when there no healers at the dais, or a she heals her friends

Ive been around gemstone around 12 or so years. I've known Shilaz for the last 9 of them. Yes she does have her character back from a jealous reroll. So when you do put a few thousand in your acounts play as you want.

Just a couple of more things

One. Leash that was a sorry ambush. Coward
Two. She went as far as IMing me about your stupid spell question. To try to help your dumb"yea" whatever for not looking it up yourself.


Just get over it, and don't get caught in dirty drawz

It was my understanding that both Shilaz and Cadiva were owned by the same person.

WRONG. I've watched her heal as soon as Cadiva gates back into the dais and zombies out when there's a corpse there or someone else asking for healing... doesnt matter if another healer is there or not... = get a fucking table.

In short. You can tell her thanks for the coin donations after Cadiva gates in and then dumps all her coins off on Starlaz. As long as Starlaz keeps coins in her pockets she can zombie on the dais all she wants. :lol:

Since when is being interactive in an interactive game a problem? (That's in regard to my spell question which I did in a whisper.) If you have a problem with that then might I suggest you take your own advice at the end of your post.
