Illistim, the New Landing

Recently I set a goal to find the alternative to hunting creatures at my level. Just to see what's rich out there.

So I did Logoth, RR, Haven, Icemule, Teras(favorite so far, but gems went from emeralds to spinel within a day).

So I came to Illistim to check my luck here...

Where do all the assholes go that once made the landing a shithole when they have nothing to hunt? Illistim! The dais is like a fucking eyesore of all eyesores(though everyone leaves their pouches open).

The dais puts TSC and the Small Park to shame...

Well the last time I was in Illistim, there were tops, 3-4 people on the dais at a time...

There is a lot of activity on the dais. And the idiocy can really run rampant. However, those who seek to ply their trades are usually more competent than that of the landing, so the drama is not as prevalant as their landing counterparts for the most part. The drama that does occur is usually over in a few heartbeats because of the age/level of the participants and the experience they have with their weaponry/spells.

Yep. It's gotten bad in the past few months. It doesn't really bug me, too much. When we switched to gs4 I thought that (when I went back to the Landing from Ta'illistim to hunt the Stronghold again) I had missed the Landing. But after being in the town for two weeks I was sick of it already (although I did end up staying for about 8 trainings). I'm sort of looking forward to heading back when the Stronghold expansion opens up. Although with my luck, tons of other people will move to the Landing as well.

Yea, I spent a week in the landing for the invasion/Griffen Sword finality and wound up in jail twice for killing idiots that exhausted my patience or were old enough to know better.

I've killed a few times in Illistim, but frequency is far less than that of my visits to the landing.

I don't spend much time on the dais.

I managed to RP a moody and touchy character for about 10 mins on the Dais.
It didn't take them long to switch to PvP.

Unless this new hunting ground is any good, I'll be in the Rift for the forseeable future.

The Dais is horrible. I suggest resting in Briarstone Court, or at the Fountain. Less people, less drama. Sancted as well.
