View Full Version : Unique/rare training paths (multiple classes)...

Well I'm bored at work and starting to think about my next character.
So far I've played...
-Sorcerer, pure magic, runestaff (my main)
-Cleric, pure magic, runestaff (second main)
-Rogue, ambushing ohe, and now pure smith(boring i know)
-Paladin, 2handed ambusher (didnt get too far)
-Ranger, archer, spells (pretty standard)
So...I usually like pure spellcasters, but I am kinda bored and want to try something very different and crazy.
I have yet to play a wizard, so I am looking into a war mage. 2hander weilding wizard, for something different. Was also thinking about trying an archery wizard just to see what that would be like, but I'm not sure if its feesible.
I just want something unique, or very rare and fun as hell to play.
Hence the post. So...
Post your strange, unique, kickass, bizarre, fun training styles...ANY CLASS! I'm kind of leaning towards Wizards because they are kickass spellcasters, and the only real spellcaster I havent played yet.

Hahaha, nice.
So you heal them, and then they thank you while you are reaching into their pockets?
Or they tip you, but you decide to help yourself to more?
I love it.

I don't script heal, so it's easy to do pick their pockets in the middle of healing. Even if they saw it, with the screen scroll they might miss it. This is also the first time I've ever played a char (other than a locker char) besides Naessi, so it's fun.

Play an Erithian. We have very few as it is.
I play an Erithian katana user. Currently dropping her ambush and perception to pick up OHE and TWC so she can use a wakizashi or tanto alongside the katana. I don't know how it will turn out, but it should be fun, regardless.

Make the physical bard with fast weapons, possibly TWC, otherwise ohe/shield. They seem kinda fun, and you could always fixskills to a pure bard later if you start to miss being a pure.
I have a polearming bard almost 25, and I wish I had the fix skills to try out a pure bard or TWC bard, both look pretty interesting.

Chiv, gotta ask man, does the perception help out a ton for your archer mage? I asked around to Elrodin, Dragolyn and a few other archers I knew before making my ranged wizard and I was under the impression it wasn't all that necessary for her. Course..it's been known to happen that I'm wrong..so...

Well, I'd say he can hit the legs with 50% accuracy at the moment, so it's not that great, but it does add a bit to AS plus it helps me send all the shots at the abdomen or the chest which give him the best HP damage. He can aim his longbow and fire in 3 seconds, 1 second with haste, so it's usually just targetting areas that give a lot of HP damage and plinking away. I do think that by the time he is 40ish he'll probably be able to hit the legs pretty decently.
