View Full Version : Halloween Costume
It's a bit early, but this costume is going to take effort in finding him. The man below me is gonna be me.. with a little luck.
So far, I've turned out empty, so I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction for costumes of The King. Thanks!

I was considering trying to find the ensemble to become Silk E. Johnson for All Hallow's Eve. He won player hater of the year, in season one of Chapelle's Show. I'll post a pic up later.

You should change out of the usual outfit you wear (see Xyelin's avatar for details) and totally be the king of metrosexuals. Ochre is very you :uglyclown:

Did you want EXACTLY that costume, or something similiar?
If you're willing to compromise see if you can find a place that rents out costumes for the clothing part and wigs/fake facial hair for the rest.
Add in a cheap BK hat and you're set.
I'd love the exact thing. I was going for the creepiness of it all. I mean.. Damn... that King is creepy, though he does have delicious sandwiches!, either way... So far it's been a no go :(

i know the guys that did the sound/lighting for the first 2 commercials, the one in bed with the other guy, and the one with darius rucker (i know the king wasnt in it), when i get to miami tomorrow (where one of them lives) i'll ask him if he can find out where they got the costume, and if the place has another to rent. only thing is it would be a little expensive as you'd have to ship it.
That is a great costume idea. Its modern consumerist iconic worship at its finest.
My best was pop culture icon worship. I took that blue stuff europeans use to stick things to walls with, shaped them into points, molded them seamlessly onto the tips of my ears, covered them with cheap drugstore cover-up, and shaved off half my eyebrows. A red lond sleeve t and black pants... guess who I was.
My buddy that same night bought a suit and tie at the Salvation Army and covered them both entirely in silver duct tape. I loaned him my fedora which of course he covered as well. He looked like a cross between a 50’s tin-man and a 50’s futuristic reporter.
Ha, we took the NYC subway to a party in Williamsburg that night, totally trashed. I was getting the V all night.
Good times.

Didn't Spock wear a blue shirt?

I'm totally dressing up as an emo kid this halloween. It'll be funny and relatively inexpensive.

My girlfriend wants me to be an Egyptian Pharaoh, for some strange reason.

Yeah man, you got the character right, but I was going deep. I was doing it pre-series when he was lower in the ranks, younger, shorter and fatter.

sweet bejesus arkans that guy is scary as fuck, and if I opened my kitchen window an he was standing there with a yummy sammich, i'd still probably shit myself.

That's what I love about the guy.
Imagine waking up with that dude just hanging out in your BED with a delicious sandwich!

I just figured out my personal problem with him, Back when I was a kid and mr rogers would go to the land of make believe, the king and queen scared the hell out of me, so bad i'd close my eyes and go to the tv to change the channel.. I probably would still today... They just weren't right... something about plastic faces froze in their evil grin.
Oh shit, you’re right. They do bear a resemblance.
I remember that damn cat puppet.

Yea, I want to know what the bleep were those advertising executives thinking (if they even were).
I cannot see how it would motivate me to hurry down to Burger King if I'm stuck with nightmares about waking up in bed with some guy with an evil plastic grin next to me.
:scared: :weird:
Wouldn't it hurt sales?!?! :?:

It's reverse psychology, if you buy the sammich he won't do bad things to you..... Buy the SAMMICH!!!!

Just get a big rubbermaid trashcan, cut out leg and arm holes, afix the lid to your head, take some random junk to you and go as white trash.

I'd rather stay home drinking Schlitz and smokin' Kools than try to maneuver at a party while wearing a fuckin' trash can!

Once at a club I saw a guy dressed as an island. He had a base of 'land' that was about six feet around and two feet high, with a palm tree growing out of the middle of it. His lower body formed the trunk, then from his abdomen up he stuck out of the trunk, wearing a Hawaiian shirt. He had paper mache legs wrapped around the trunk below his torso, and a palm tree top finishing the rest of the tree.
I can't imagine how he made the thing, but it was terrific.
Myself, I'll be dressing as a clown this year, complete with evil grin, blood soaked clown suit and a chainsaw!

One year I always wanted to go to a Halloween party as a giant tampon. Wear a white skull cap, a giant white cardboard tube with arm holes, and have a string dangling out the bottom.
That would have been ideal when I was still in college...don't think I could pull that off at the office party...

Since Katrina busted my usual plans I've decided to host something fun this year. I've been thinking about going as a little boy and making my boyfriend go as Michael Jackson. Or Little boy/priest. Both are funny. Priest is probably over done. And he might....get too into it. :-O
Idunno. I have to think of something clever. I cant wear my usual halloween costume of WHORE IN KINK OUTFIT.

There's a costume you can buy (I've seen it before) that is a priest's outfit with a little boy hanging off the front of it, semi-kneeling. I'd post a pic, but that's probably not the thing I should be searching for at work.

Aw cute Jonty! She is absolutely adorable! My lil girl wants to be a tiger. She turned her nose up at being Cinderella despite my pleas. I'll post pics later.
